My elderly mother and I have just returned from our third stay in five years at the Shangri-La Dubai, and once again, it was a flawless experience from start to finish.
We had access to the Horizon Club, which continues to exceed expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by staff who remembered us from our previous visit in 2024—a truly personal touch that meant a lot. The Premier Room was spacious, beautifully maintained. The bathroom featured a large shower and a relaxing jacuzzi bath.
The Horizon Club Lounge offers a relaxing environment for breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening happy hour, all with impeccable service and a great atmosphere.
We dined at the hotel on four evenings, enjoying exquisite meals at Shang Palace and Dunes Café. While both were excellent, Dunes Café truly stood out. As a fish lover, the Fish Night was a highlight—an incredible selection and attentive chefs who explained every dish. The freshness and variety were outstanding.
Special thanks to the amazing Horizon Club team: Keith, Kopila, Nikhil, Zineb, Janeth, and Saw—your hospitality made our stay so memorable. We also appreciated the warm service from Waqas and Francis in the lobby and Nishal from housekeeping.
We highly recommend the Shangri-La Dubai to anyone looking for comfort and outstanding service. It continues to be our home away from home, and we look forward to returning soon.

Ahmed, part of the breakfast staff, was specially nice and competent.

So helpful.. i can get free early check in at 8.30 AM.
They need deposit 700 AED. Their breakfast are so delicious.. its near to go anywhere. I got free cake and honeymoon decoration. They give me good city view from my room. Sure be back again.

Room is nice but a bit old, need renovation. Location is strategic, near to Burj Khalifa, and the view is really nice. Staffa were great. Service is excellent.

This is the perfect hotel to stay, they served me very well, let me to have the early check in and late check out, they also upgraded our room! No need to go anywhere to capture the burj khalifa, its presented right in front of the window! The toiletteries were perfect they use loccitane which is impressive! Thanks and really recommend this hotel for everyone.
