I was in one of the worst predicaments of my entire life with my daughter. 2 females traveling across country for the first time alone. I had this hotel reserved, God made that happen for a reason. I am not lying when I say this reservation saved my life. I cannot begin to say how amazing this place is

Spacious, comfortable quiet room. Housekeeping was excellent. Breakfast, while nothing fancy, was entirely adequate. Our bathroom needed some light repair work, but was fully operational.

Ouroom was attached to another room and the door between the two rooms did not lock as the knob mechanism did not align properly into the whole to prevent it from being opened. Although no one was occupying the other room, it felt unsafe. When I brought this up to the front desk, she acted like it was no big deal and somewhat argued with me about it. I had to push really hard to be placed into a different room.

We loved this hotel however, my family was traveling with a service animal and i was charged the $10.60 a night pet fee even though i shouldnt have had to pay it. The first night we stayed, i was asked if she was a service animal and i replied yes. We had to extend our stay due to unforseen issues surrounding my car and when i checked in for that stay, no one asked me about her and i had no idea they were charging me a pet fee. When i spoke to the manager he assured my they would refund the fee for my 5 night stay but never did. First i was told it would be refunded, then i was told it would be mailed to me...still nothing. It clearly states on the website that service animals stay free but when they mess up, they really dont want to own up to it or give you your money back.

The hotel is fine except for the humidity. They run a dehumidifier in the lobby. My room would also need one. The humidity is so high a t-shirt I left on my bags felt wet when I went to wear it in the morning.

Check in, we needed to change our room ( we had booked an extra day at the last minute, l am disabled and wanted to stay in the same room all week - if at all possible ) and Regine was so accomodating, called the manager, they went out of their way to help us. Ending up getting a room on the first floor for the week.
An unassuming little hotel, but clean, comfortable and a staff that was lovely. Regine, Kevin, Calencia and Ray Anne helped us every day, even holding doors open, offering and helping us carry things to the room! The service was professional, personable, friendly and KIND. They treated us like we were their own Grandparents and not two needy old folks. Really went above and beyond. Unexpected and greatly appreciated! The room was clean, too. I am allergic to bleach, l told Regine my first night and housekeeping was so careful. Turns out they use the good disinfectants, not bleach, but they checked with us before using ANYTHING. They genuinely cared and pleasing us was definitely their goal. We travel frequently, this stay was one of our best experiences - ever. No room service or fancy accoutrments, but the warmth, cleanliness and staff more than made up for that
To be honest, Hershey Lodge was full, so we discovered this little gem accidentally, but we will always stay here in the future. Unmatched.
