I rented the suite for my two teenage kids and myself the kitchen was awesome. The loft with the beds was awesome. The morning breakfast was a nice treat. We still made breakfast in our rooms and dinner in our rooms. We snowboarding every day. location was close to the ski lift.

This review is solely for the worst check in experience at this inn. I was basically charged 3x for the same trip. I had previously paid in full on Expedia 2 weeks prior. Then when I arrived early morning asking when I could check in, front desk girl named Princess said to come back at 2 and proceeded to charge my CC for 2 nights unbeknownst to me. Then I came back at 4 for check in and the front desk guy charged my CC again! OMG this was THE worst experience at this inn. I had to complain to Expedia and CC to rectify the situation. I never even got an apology from this inn. Very unprofessional and zero accountability. On the other hand the room was nice and clean. I would only come back if they get new management and staff. Room rated A. Management rated F.

Cute hotel, but dated. Couldn't adjust the heat. Breakfast was meager, with canned fruit instead of fresh. Staff was very friendly, so that's a plus!

The room we had was clean, with a nice view and patio deck. Kids enjoyed it as well as the wife, plus free breakfast helps especially with the price of food out there.

Fun stay with interesting guests - eclectic Enjoyable conversations about their journeys. Older property with vintage decor Also spring mattress which sprung into action with each turn. Restaurants easy walking distance (pizza anyone) and also convenient laundromat across the street..

Ownership should try a little harder on the physical property. Well intentioned but run down and in need of a refresh. The phrase road hard and put away wet comes to mind. Has potential but not realized.

Mammoth is a great mountain town, and the people here at Cinnamon Bear were very nice and helpful, but the place is tired and run down. The little gas stove heater in our room was great - easy to control and kept us comfortable.

Cinnamon Bear was a great, quaint place for a solo one night stay. It was not a luxury hotel but it was more than sufficient, with fun little touches. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was better than standard continental and the room was clean and comfortable. It could have used a little paint or fixing here and there but it was great for me and I’d stay here again.
