Great location

I liked everything about the property. Been here 3 times now. They have never disappointed me. Top notch all the way around!

There was a great little coffee cart outside the hotel that made waking up and enjoying the ocean view even better.

Room is nice, clean and remodeled. However the lobby area and cafe is old and needs updating. Our neighbor was blasting music all night long. We called several time to complain finally at 3 am they sent security to stop it. It’s a really nice spot on the beach boardwalk area.

Wonderful location. Step out of the hotel and you are on your beach walk. Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean and Surfer's Point. We left the patio door open all night and slept happily in the sea breeze. One caution, the hotel is close to the 101 freeway and the railroad tracks. It didn't bother us, but some people may be more sensitive.

We arrived early to play at the beach, paid the valet and left our bags in storage; and after aprx 2 hrs we received a phone call that the hotel overbooked and needed to cancel our reservation. We had 3 kids very excited for this stay, which I expressed to the supervisor, who was able to find us a room. I then received another call from the hotel about 2 hrs later that I would need to contact hotels.com because the credit card was being declined. After being on hold about 20 mins, they finally worked it out. The supervisor upgraded our room for our trouble. We finally went to retrieve our room key at 4pm and had to wait in a long line, despite already having physically checked in. The manager gave us complimentary breakfast vouchers. Later that night we called down for more towels and an extra blanket, which we never received. The tv doesn’t offer and streaming services where you can login with our own credentials so we were forced to pay 10 for a family/kid friendly movie. The toilet ran every 2 minutes. Finally, after checking out, I called twice regarding phone chargers I left in the room and left 2 voicemails asking that they please hold them so I could pick them up, but never received a call back.

Nice hotel ( a bit expensive). Nice place. Staff for the most part were nice. I did ask a front clerk if there was an outdoor shower to wash sand off your feet. She immediately replied “no there isn’t “ I went by the pool and yes there was one. Maybe she didn’t know. Anyway good hotel I would stay again.

I was impressed by the hotel's beauty and cleanliness. The location on the water was also a significant advantage. Nevertheless, I was disappointed by the front desk staff's lack of customer service, which was similarly inadequate during my previous stay. To enhance their performance, I strongly recommend that they participate in training seminars.

Really responsive customer service. Close to main st Ventura. I definitely recommend staying here.

The hotel itself was in very good repair, beds were comfortable. The pool however was in desperate need of repair. There was visible black mold, stairs were so filthy and slippery. The mold on the side of pool and in grout. I let the staff know but there little done about.

Beautiful ocean views and lots of walkable food options. Noise from karaoke bar lasted until almost 11 pm and Amtrak trains run right next to the hotel. Also, the bathrooms have sliding barn doors that are noisy if you open them while others in the room are sleeping. I would still stay here though because of the positives.

This hotel with its proximity to the water and its beautiful views is my favorite place to stay. The rooms are great. The restaurant has good food. Daniel, the bartender is awesome! Makes a wonderful Dirty Martini and provides great service overall. You have so much to do within walking distance.

The best part about this hotel is the location! It’s the only hotel located directly on the beach which explains the high daily cost. However, it’s an old hotel with old rooms. Carpet is dated and smells even in the “nicer” rooms. We had to switch rooms when we arrived because the first one had an awful intolerable musty smell. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable. Overall I wouldn’t pay over $300 a night in this place again.

The Crowne Plaza has a beautiful location right on the beach. The view is wonderful. The town side is we’ve never stayed in such a noisy hotel. Because the highway runs right next to it and the railroad track. There is noise all day long all night long. Also the configuration of the elevators is strange. The carpet outside the elevator doors was filthy. On the pro side, the beds were very comfortable.
