Days Inn by Wyndham Independence

Check in was quick, room was ok. Went out for a while and upon return looked like someone had been in the room and the key card didn't work. Had to wait by reception for 15 mins for a member of staff, no sign to say they had stepped away. Other than that all was ok

Nice peaceful location

The hotel was old and had nothing to offer but a place to sleep. I had forgotten a wine opener and the front desk offered me a can opener. So I asked for a screw driver, nope. So I asked for a plyers, nope. They knocked on my door later with a needle nose plyers but I had already walked the area and brought a wine opener. Next time I will pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

Once you learn the rules and get to know the staff it's very nice and restful. We just needed a cool room and sleep and do laundry and eat waffles and drink coffee and milk. I'll be back.

Standing here at front desk over 15 minutes and no one here. I see you already billed my card

They said they were pet friendly but they said an emotional support dog was not a service dog so I was charged for it. The rooms were way out of date. I’m not sure how this establishment is still associated with Days Inn

The staff was friendly, the room was clean and spacious, felt safe, didn't have people just hanging around the property like some motels do these days...I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again

the stay started off alright then the next morning there was no power for anybody, they kept my 50$ deposit because there was little blood on the sheet (my girl was on her time of the month) and it was dark all around could barely get ready for my later event also couldn’t get breakfast. areas pretty ghetto too wouldn’t recommend.

There was a storm that came through just before we checked in and part of the hotel was without power. I had 2 rooms reserved, and one had power and the other 1 didn't. When I went to the front desk to ask to get 2 rooms with power. I was given some attitude, saying he didn't know which ones were which so I asked him to go check and he begrudgingly did. My new room had no ac and it was almost a 100° outside, with 80% humidity. I finally decided to just share the room that my ex-husband got so I ended up sleeping several feet away from my ex-husband because my room was unusable due to the heat. We were not offered any way to rectify the situation. And when we asked if we could cancel one room, we were told no. The room we did share was dirty. I have pictures of a dirty floss pick on the floor the sink was dirty. The bathroom only had one hinge on the door so the door didn't work properly and the light in there was out. To add to the irritation, the pool was not working, which is the one amenity that I looked for so my 11-year-old could swim on our trip. There wasn't even coffee at breakfast! Everything was subpar. I will say, the beds were comfy and seemed to be clean, but who knows? $130 to sleep 2 feet away from my ex-husband in a dirty room in a rough, rowdy area. I am disappointed and will not be returning.

There was no body soap in shower. Tub was slippery. There was no room available at check in. Staff gave us another room after 30 minutes. Breakfast was awful. Juice machine was out of order, coffee wasn’t available without asking. Breakfast area was not well maintained. We will not stay there again.

Staff was very nice, property was not very clean and very dated.

Shady people around the area. Staff was very polite! No issues with the room whatsoever.

the bathroom door in my room was broken and so was the television-- i requested at least the TV be fixed (they said it was as simple as unplugging/replugging) and it was NOT. they put me in a smoking room when i requested s NON smoking room as they said NOTHING else was available at check in, knowing of my reservation ahead of time. Staff was NOT available for any emergencies, needs or concerns although they said they would be. Overall, would NOT RECOMMEND until they get proper/adequate staffing (across the board) and remodel or fix their rooms.

I liked the continental breakfast.

Door on bathroom off hinges. Front door didn't lock. Charged me 4 times for room.

When we checked in our hotel room smelled so bad that our clothes smelled of it too. We had poop or blood stains on our sheets-they offered to give us new sheets we could put on ourselves- it was so gross and the smell was so bad we ended up just leaving and driving home that night at midnight. They refused to give us a refund- I would never recommend this place to anyone. there is no way this room was cleaned because they also left us with no toilet paper on the roll

Well considering we was woken up at 1:00 a.m. with the police banging on the next door to remove the people out of the room you just feel unsafe. Needless to say it was a restless night

Stay went smoothly with no issues. Check in and check out we’re easy and quick which I truly appreciated. Staff were also very nice and helpful.
