Best property to stay in Melbourne! Feel like a home.

We were curious why there were police stationed at the hotel lobby everyday we were there.

While the property did not completely meet my expectations, the staff was very friendly and the location directly on the beach made it worthy of 4 stars. Beds were comfortable for sleeping, however the down comforter on both beds were dingy and stained The refrigerator did not have the containment on door for placement of items. Trash receptacles should be placed in all areas because the ones hotel provides are extremely small. Please consider removing the curtains and replace with blinds because they are so close to the bed (only 1 inch space between curtains and bed) this was unacceptable because the curtains are dark and grimy. They can do much better than this considering hotel carries Doubletree name. The MOTEL vibe was unexpected as I expected luxury, again due to Doubletree brand. This property is not luxurious and was overpriced. The food in restaurant is also overpriced for the quality. The beach attendants were very nice but I was not happy about having to pay $42 a day to rent umbrella and 2 chairs, only to find that they call it quits when it rains and after only 1 hour I had to take the loss. This was a rip off and it happened to me twice. I understand acts of God, but after 1 hour or less of rain they never put the umbrellas and chairs back out. Like I said, rip off. Even on a day when there was no rain, they picked them up at 5pm but the beach doesn’t close. I think this is rude and hotel should implement a process more accommodating to guests.

Great stay right on the beach. The waters were pretty rough when we stayed in mid May 2025. Not sure if this was from a storm or if thats more normal here. Tons of shells. Close walk to the beach. Outdoor pool was nice. Restaurant on site available.

Phenomenal! Right on the beach! Balcony view of sunrises and sunsets of the ocean are amazing! I would stay here again for sure! Excellent restaurant on site and Tiki bar as well!

Honestly, probably one of the nicer hotels my wife and I have stayed at. The staff were friendly and the hotel itself was pretty well maintained and clean. We loved that the hotel room itself was modern and had a great view. Would definitely recommend this place.

well i have pictures of flies in our room and went to the front desk and they said they would tell room service...room service said put a towel at the bottom of the door..also where do i attach the pictures of the flies?

Convenient location for much of the Space Coast. Great views above 1st floor. Handicap access for pool and spa in disrepair/unusable. Charging for parking on premises as a separate item is ridiculous. I'm paying for a room. They don't allow parking for regular beach goers, so the only purpose for the lot is for guests of the hotel.

Sliding door to balcony was very hard to open & close. Had to ask for ice bucket and location to ice machines. No instructions in the room for how to work TV or anything else in room or on property. Enjoyed our stay and the beach.

Stay was wonderful!! It was a mothers day getaway. The only thing i would recommend for this hotel is for them to uograde the pull out couch as i am light and I sunk in the middle. Pull out couch is not comfortable. Amenities are great Staff is wonderful. Would stay here again
