The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The eating area was extremely dirty when we went for breakfast in the morning. The elevators are horribly slow. The stay was set off on the wrong foot when we walked in late the night before after a very long flight, waited in line, and when it was our turn and we were called up by the lady behind the counter, she didn’t greet us she just stared at us. I said hello and she continued to stare at me till I gave her my name for the reservation

Have stayed at this Wmbassy Suite before to catch flights from O’Hare for family vacations. If only traveling for a few days or a week, they have a parking option that we have used in the past.
Front desk staff on check in was great and they got our two rooms next to each other. They also signed us up for a breakfast to go bag since our flight was so early that we would miss the breakfast.
One major disappointment this trip was that in the morning, the shuttle bus picked up at the DoubleTree first and when arriving at Embassy didn’t have enough room for all of my family and bags (had to split the 7 of us). The front desk could do nothing but recommend waiting at least 30 minutes for the next one, which didn’t work for our flight plans. Had to spend $40 on Uber to get the rest of the family to the airport. If I wanted to take Ubers to the airport, I would consider staying somewhere much cheaper and a bit further from airport next time.

Run down hotel. Went for two days to enjoy a little medical staycation after a surgery and it was just old and decrepit and run down and pool was closed. Total disappointment. Staff never made eye contact or smiled so I think it’s probably not a fun place to work.

The breakfast and staff are the only good things about this hotel. When we got there the elevators were not working for 2 days. Had us use the utility elevators which were all the way at the end of the hallway and would get really busy that it would form a line. One of the days we didn’t have hot water and our room didn’t get cleaned. Had to go get clean towels. Also the parking fee is outrageous. The staff was great in helping with our problems. I would assume many others staying here had the same issues I had. They were friendly and trying their best. The rooms were outdated and in need of updating. My room felt humid even with the ac at a cold setting. The breakfast is a redeeming quality that’s why I keep staying at Embassy Suites. This specific location didn’t meet my expectations that I’m used to with their brand.

Beautiful hotel with an excellent breakfast and evening snacks / drinks. Rooms are spacious but the sofa bed mattress was thin and could feel the springs, likely needs replaced. Had one elevator out but had staff to assist and it was fixed by the last day. Main areas were a little muggy but it was very hot and muggy outside so that didn’t help.

Central air was not working properly in the hotel and fans were set out to help circulate air, kitchen had a fire that created a large amount of smoke in the entire hotel, dirty dishes were left on the floors outside of rooms, and floors looked like they had not been vacuumed in a couple days on the 3rd floor.
Breakfast area seemed clean and food was decent.
