Gorgeous old school hotel. This place is like stepping back in time. Beautiful architecture inside and out. Historical. Lovely rooms with crystal chandeliers and gorgeous tile bathrooms. The shower water pressure alone was worth the price. From front desk to bar and restaurant, the staff was first class. Price for food and drink was reasonable. I didn’t think hotels like this still existed. Luckily, it does.

What a great hotel that isn't your typical chain hotel rooms. Very classy, well maintained. We showed up on Labor Day and the staff was limited, but the service was exceptional! We enjoyed an amazing dinner in their restaurant. Prior to that we walked down the street a few blocks to a taphouse for local beers. Downtown is extremely clean and safe to walk. You can tell the city takes pride in their historial town. Would definitely stay there again.

The property is a unique historical building and was interesting. However, the food was overpriced and not very good. The parking was not convenient. We were urged to use (and pay) for valet because otherwise you park on a downtown street.

Lodging at the Geiser Grand was a happy accident. We had not intended to stay in Baker City last Friday. The GG was amazing; wonderful staff, great service, delicious and quality food from the restaurant, quality linens. Baker City was walkable and had so many things to see from historic homes, to shops, to breweries with live music. We had a ball.

Beautiful Historic property. I would give it 4.5 stars but that’s not an option 5 stars is definitely reserved for a property that’s over the top. It was lovely but dated in some ways, bed was comfortable but a little broken down. Everything was very clean so that was not an issue and staff was wonderful. Would recommend.

Loved the restored old hotel with its gorgeous Palm Court dining area under a magnificent stained glass ceiling. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room had a lovely high ceiling but had some blank walls that could have been improved with some wall hangings or other art. We were nice and cool inside despite the hot weather. Parking on the street was OK though not a great feature.
