Love the easy access to Fremont. Disliked that we specifically selected that we would like daily turnover service and was neglected. Had to use wet towels over and over.

This was our first time staying here, and we really enjoyed it! The location made it super easy to get to Fremont Street and The Tube. We were a bit disappointed that the upstairs pool was closed—it sounded like it was just due to low activity, which felt a little strange and unfortunate. On the upside, renting a car through the on-site Budget office was quick and hassle-free. Overall, it was really convenient having everything we needed right in one spot.

We LOVE staying off the strip... it's less expensive and like old Vegas.
The Nugget is centrally located and has an awesome pool. The water slide is epic and shoots you through an aquarium at the end. If you have kids (or kids at heart) you'll dig it :)

Check in process is horrible. You have to check in on a kiosk with very long lines. You do not speak to any staff behind the front desk. also, be prepared to pay an extra $52.00 a day per person for resort fees. I felt safe in my room and it was comfortable and very clean.

Why pay a resort fee when every time I tried to use the pool there were no lounge chairs available. Room ran out of body wash in the shower on day 2. The air conditioner was extremely loud. The window in our room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Some sticky goo smeared on it. yuck. Safe in our room was already locked so could not use. I have stayed at the Golden Nugget in the past and it has gone downhill. Not sure I will ever stay again.

Likes - Nice layout and dining options. Casino was good. Room was old but in good condition. Love being on Freemont Street.
Dislikes - housekeeping was poor. Smiloke in casinos was overwhelming. Should be a non smoking facility.

Overall, it was very happy with the Golden Nugget. I did stay in the rush tower, which is supposedly the nicest of the three there. On the 14th floor I still had pretty good street noise until 1 AM every morning. Really my only complaint was when I checked in I had requested housekeeping service, I also texted the next day and got a confirmation back that they would show up and it never did happen during my three nights. I also had asked for extra supplies like towels, etc., and receive confirmation that they were on the way, but they were never delivered.

Checked in at the Golden Nugget and was immediately disappointed with the condition of the room. There were visible rust and dirt stains in the tub, the carpet smelled bad, and the overall environment felt dirty and uncomfortable. It was so bad that we decided to check out the same day and didn’t even stay the night. Definitely not worth the price. Cleanliness and room maintenance need serious attention

We had to have our room changed 3 times because of brown water in shower, rust in another shower tub too. The head manager was helpful. She was very professional and understanding. But coming from Connecticut and trying to enjoy our engagement was a disaster since we only had a few days there
