The hotel seemed so understaffed. Was only able to play table games in the evening, and when the table games were open, there was maybe 1 or 2 bartenders for the whole casino. Had 2 drinks while I played Blackjack for about 5 hours, and they weren't served to me, I had to go to the bar to get them.

I stayed one night in a deluxe King room with view. It was super clean and had a fantastic view of the west hillside with historic homes scattered across. The Casino was fun. To be honest, I'm not much of a gambler. But I did play the slots for a short while. I live in Commerce City in what used to be Adams City. It is on a truck route that serves Colorado's only refinery. The street was paved about 3 years ago and was smooth as glass, Due to the construction of affordable housing, the street was torn up over and over. The paving company did a rotten job patching the holes. Very noisy with hundreds of trucks running up and down 24 hours a day. I desperately needed a quiet retreat. The Grand Z fit the bill completely! Thank you for your hospitality!

I love that you guys still have the old games that I love. So many casinos only have those Asian themed games that start the bet at 88 cents. You don't win your bet back let alone win enough to play for any length of time.

The hotel casino was very nice. Clean and comfortable. For the price it was a good value. Covered parking was excellent with the snowy conditions. Only issues was no table games Monday through Wednesday and we did not have hot water during the night and not until 8 in the morning.

I will say that all of us felt a bit allergenic, even the dog with goopy eyes so I wonder if the air system is cleaned regularly

We have stayed at Grand Z many times. The quality has gone downhill. The staff continues to be accomodating but they seem hamstrung by corporate policy. For instance, it was on our third room that we had AC working but not great. Also, the handicapped switch to open the doors from the garage to the elevators has not worked in months on several levels.

when i booked the room the price was taxes and fees include when i got there they charged me a service fee and taxed the service fee won't stay there again

Stains on the sheets and walls by the bed. Pillows were hard and sheets wouldn’t stay on the bed.

It was ok. The carpet had white stuff all over it.. maybe like carpet fresh that never got vacuumed up? Needless to say...it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed for awhile:( Fire alarm (not hotels fault) went off at 4am, scaring the heck outta us, because someone was vaping in their room. Housekeeping started knocking on door at 915am, check out isn't until 12 but we didn't hang our do not disturb sign because we didn't have one. Housekeeping must have gotten in room next door because the door kept opening and slamming.. very loud cleaning. So.... needless to say we didn't sleep well:( positives: bed was comfortable, plenty of pillows, bathroom clean and the free shuttle is great:)
