This hotel was okay for the price. Great location for our needs to visit family. However, it is very well used! Bathroom sink was cracked, toilet seat was worn to the wood, alarm clock could not be set, fridge was not working when we arrived and I mentioned it to front desk person. He said he would find maintenance man. I never heard from him. We pulled out fridge ourselves and got it working. It was very hot while we were there and the AC kept up nicely! Breakfast area was kept full and clean!

We were in a walker & cane and asked for a room close to elevator. He gave us a room at the very end of the hall for us to use the exit at the end. But there was no handicap parking, no ramp and difficult for me to get up and down steep step up.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Dallas, Texas for three nights while in town for our daughter’s medical appointment. We specifically chose this location for its accessibility features and proximity to the clinic, and appreciated the free breakfast and helpful night attendant on arrival. Unfortunately, our stay was quite stressful. We had to move rooms three separate times due to air conditioning issues and other maintenance concerns. Each room we were assigned struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature, which made it difficult for our family—especially with a child who uses a wheelchair—to rest and recharge between busy days. During our second night, we discovered some leftover personal items under the bed, which left us uncertain about how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. Additionally, a false fire alarm prompted our family to evacuate unexpectedly, with my husband needing to carry our daughter down four flights of stairs. Thankfully, it wasn’t a real emergency, but it was a tough experience nonetheless. While some staff members did their best to assist us and offer alternatives, our final room was smaller and not as well-suited to our daughter’s needs. The shower had some issues as well, which added to the inconvenience. We’re grateful for the efforts of the staff who tried to help, but we hope the hotel takes steps to improve temperature control, room preparation, and support for families with accessibility needs.
