I booked a nights' stay to be near mother who was being admitted to boarding care. There was a glitch in her transfer and I was unable to modify my reservation to the new admissions date. Lost my reservation and money, and was charged even more money for a new reservation. Hotels.com said it was a hotel policy; the hotel said it was hotels.com.

I really enjoy my stays here at this Hampton. I've stayed here twice now, and have been happy both times. I love the property, the area is nice and safe in my opinion. Very clean atmosphere in the hotel lobby and in the rooms. Great pool and spa! If I'm in the area I'll stay here again.

Hands down one of the most “used” properties I e ever stayed in. The room carpets were so sticky our shoes stuck to them when we walked. The a/c in the room was working at about 50% capacity. Called front desk to report. Maintenance men came up and unfortunately spoke no English. The problem was not resolved over the three day stay. Broken ice machine on the 3rd floor with wires exposed. Worst part of all was bunched up hallway carpets on our floor. Unable to roll suitcase smoothly over the bumpy carpet. When asked we were told it was being stretched back out the following day. Never happened. The water view is about the best part of this hotel. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. This property came across as “icky” at best.

The view was phenomenal and overall a great stay but not sure what was meant by "Soundproofed" when neighbors could be heard partying and the door was in need of adjustments being tough to open and close while also allowing hallway light to shine through. Front desk staff was great, tho she seemed to be the only one here on a busy Friday night. Pool is pretty as well as the water view. I liked the beds and pillows.
The train whistle was my least favorite part as I heard it multiple times in the night.
