This hotel was great and close to downtown Brooklyn and the Brooklyn bridge and sub-way. The front reception staff were excellent.

The only issue I had was that my checkin time was delayed by 2 plus hours because neither room was ready and that the emergency vehicle noise was loud at all times

My best friend from L.A. and I drove up to the Hampton Inn from the Washington DC area. We were warmly greeted by Molly, who offered us vouchers for free drinks at the bar. Luka told us about an amazing noodle restaurant walking distance away.
The room was clean and comfortable.
We loved the free breakfasts--everything was tasty and fresh. Every staff member--including Manny, DK, Kim, Ki, and of course Molly and Luka were friendly and warm and helpful!
A few weeks earlier I visited Brooklyn with another friend, staying at another hotel a few blocks away from the Hampton Inn. It was inadequate, staff was rather rude, no free breakfast, and the room was screaming for a 21st century upgrade.
The Hampton Inn was such a refreshing experience, coming off the disappointing stay at the other Brooklyn hotel a month earlier.
Will definitely stay at the Hampton Inn next time I head up to NYC.
Thanks again Hampton Inn staff. You are the Best!

This property is newly renovated which is always nice. Comfortable bed and awesome-smelling shower gel. It was a nice touch to see my name across the TV screen as a welcome my first night. The only things I would change is the low-flow toilet (i personally hate those) and I also did not get a heads up beforehand for someone coming by my room to check the smoke detector. I was on my way out and had to wait for him to finish up. Staff was great and hotel generally was clean and polished.

The only annoying thing was that the lobby/breakfast area is cold due to the doors being opened all the time. If they could add heaters to the breakfast area that would be great.

I stayed in this and other Hampton Inns many times. This one has been good in the past but is starting to show its age and little annoyances showed up. The shower dripped when I tried to shut it off. The refrigerator in the room kept making noises to wake me up. There was a blood stain on the bedsheet. The experience could have been better.
