Hilton Garden Inn Camden Waterfront Philadelphia

A great hotel to stay in if visiting Philly. Clean, upscale, and great views.

Just a little far away from everything if you decide to walk but everything else is good really quiet at night so you can sleep so good like I did.

Clean, new and updated, has everything anyone needed

1. DO NOT plan your stay on a Friday - Sunday especially on a holiday weekend & spring break for familes with young children/infants who came to visit the aquarium. 2. You will NOT be checked in/taken care of from the front desk for a minimum of 1 hour or more; so expect to wait. SHOULD of had 2 agents' to check in guests. The lobby was full of guests that had to wait for 1 person to check everyone in & all came with issues of their own (3rd party vendor, room key did not work, etc.) 3. Very understaffed ESPECIALLY at the alloted Check-In time on a Friday during a holiday weekend & spring break with children and/or infants. 4. If you are a mom with an infant and you breastfeed and/or make formula DO NOT EXPECT your fridge that inside your room to work. Called the front desk & was told it is a low cool, had it on for 4 hours & not even a water bottle alone was cooled. Had to make shift a cooler & grab ice few times to keep the milk cold so it would not spoiled. 5. Training of staff for checking in was UNACCEPTABLE. Especially for the possible scenarios that could of gone wrong, went wrong on this day.

Awesome view of the city-especially at night when everything is lit up. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Service was great. Restaurant was a little slow getting food, but it was good. Make sure to stick to map directions, becasue surrounding area away from riverfront is a little sketchy.

The property smelled nice and was quite modern. Overall, it was a good stay with a few minor inconveniences. First, I miss the days when hotels had free parking. Having to pay $25 to stay overnight is frustrating when you're already paying for a room. Second, the bathroom door was a sliding door with a sizable gap! Anyone in the room could look through the gap without trying and see the person on the toilet. HUGE design flaw! It looks like they tried to fill it with some sort of foam or insulation but it wasn't nearly wide enough. Otherwise, it was a good stay. We were on the 4th floor and it was pretty quiet, the room was a good size, and they had a fair amount of drawers for your stuff. The fridge didn't feel very cold but was in working order.

This is a beautiful property with gorgeous views of the Delaware River and Philadelphia skyline. The rooms are roomy and well-trimmed. Staff was very accommodating and courteous. Easy access to Center City Philadelphia and South Jersey locales. I will be staying again.

Decent stay. Only negative thing is that some of the employees were not the friendliest and a little too busy socializing with each other when I stood at the front desk waiting for help. Otherwise it was good. The view of the Ben Franklin bridge lit up at night was really something!
