It is a short walk from NoMa metro station, Harris Teeter is also 2 buildings away and more importantly the room has microwave and coffee maker. Important for quick drink and food!

This hotel has coffee in the lobby and the rooms are clean. The bathroom was very very clean! Beds are super comfy and the area is nice. Need the valet though which is $55. Would stay again

I enjoyed my room but at check in the worker was dry. No excitement in welcome to Hilton Garden Inn my name is and how can I help you today? Sunday night a nice gentleman assisted us on sone questions we had and the lady that checked me out on Monday was very nice. Knats were constantly in the lobby area. The breakfast team was very nice and the night crew in the restaurant were nice.

The hotel is older than it looks in photos. We did not eat at the hotel or use pool/gym. No outlets for electronics. Only took one charger block? Most hotels have lamps /clocks with charging stations. Air Conditioning was on a governour. It could not be set below 65 and did not work as well as I would have preferred. Hotel staff was acomodating when we voiced above concerns they brought us a fan and another charging outlet. Replinished coffee and tea daily but had to pay for bottled water. Several restaurants and stores in close proximity. Metro station 5 min walk away. It was a clean & budget friendly hotel. Neighborhood (NOMA) is in a gentrification process but we felt very safe. I thought the area was lovely and having the metro so close by made travel quick and easy. We valet the car and walked, took public transport & ubers. I would definitley consider staying there again as it served our purpose of a clean place to sleep and shower as we explored the capitol.

The staff was amazing and friendly. That being said the bathroom smelled like a sewer and the breakfast was just a complimentary breakfast for $25. The hot tub was not really hot and only open until 8pm. We didnt even try the grill with how much breakfast cost for the basics. We also tried to avoid the bathroom and kept the door sealed as much as possible. Lastly you can hear your neighbors with no problems through the walls especially the crying baby next door.

Candice was very rude and very passive aggressive . I called and asked who was I speaking to you so I can properly address them about a concern and the front desk agent (who name I still do not know ) responded with “ Who I am speaking to” I was so taken back and appalled I asked for a manager immediately. Once transferred , I spoke about the interaction and instead of addressing the issues she asked me what can she help me with . I repeated that’s what I wanted to address and she responded she didn’t have time for this and transferred me to corporate. The level of disrespect and lack of customer service and hospitality is not okay. A name should have been given during the greeting when she answered the phone. Granted it may not be policy but once asked , I don’t understand in what world of hospitality you refuse your name and ask the guest name instead like you provide free services . It just felt so uncomfortable and like my money wasn’t appreciated and it was rent due . Customer service and hospitality should be provided with everyone that represents Hilton . Not just senior leaders . It took away my whole experience with the hotel. None of my channels was working and I had to ask for hand soap. I was going to let that go because of the other amenities but the rude , nasty customer service I received took all that away.

Room was spacious, clean , location is excellence , but the parking is not available just valet and is expensive, which wasn’t mentioned when we booked the hotel , luckily public parking is close by and affordable, the other thing water in the room was $3:00 USD which we found that expensive for us Canadian .

The fridge door insulation strip was falling off so the fridge never held temperature. Switched rooms cause of a missing remote. Non working bathroom faucet. The property is just not well maintained.
