Holiday Inn Express & Suites TACOMA by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Nothing!!!you show a pool and hot tub, but then when you check in you are told they are both broken!!!!!

The room was great but the day front counter lady was not friendly and when I would ask a question she acted like I was inconsiderate for asking and same with the manager I asked her about why the pool was closed and she never apologized and acted like I was being inconsiderate to her. I was there over a week and was there over Lavern day weekend and the pool was closed the whole time I was there

Only complaint is that the water did not get hot enough. Beds were very comfortable and linen was very soft.

Pool was ice cold. When speaking to front desk staff they were rude and not helpful.

Very friendly staff and great complimentary breakfast. Downside was poor wi-fi. Was often slow and repeatedly disconnected.

Nice property and was clean. However when I got to my room the toilet was broken and no tv remote. I had already unpacked everything and their maintenance person was already gone for the day so I had to change rooms. Needless to say not the best thing right after you check in but the staff was very nice. Overall a good stay

TERRIBLE STREET NOISE! We had to run our fan on high all night to drown out the noise from the street and other rooms. The hotel was surface level clean. Everything felt very dingy and the hotel itself was humid and sticky. Our bathroom, while looked newly renovated was not the cleanest and there were literal tiles falling off the side of the wall. There were also people smoking cigarettes on our floor, it wasn’t addressed by staff, and therefore my newborn and 3 year old were exposed to second hand smoke. The best part about the stay, was checking out.

The stay was ok, the area has great food choices and most are within walking distance. My only issue was during check in. I have an online bank and the hotel wouldn’t accept my card for the security deposit. I was traveling far and it was my only card. I paid for my reservation in advance and the woman at the counter told me to cancel my reservation which would’ve left me stranded on my vacation. This is the only hotel I’ve stayed that didn’t accept my card, I’ve never had any issues. Luckily I was visiting family and they had to go out of their way to help me. So while the stay was ok I probably wouldn’t be booking at any more holiday inn hotels

Nothing to rave about this older property It says suites but it has no kitchen and very small nook for the fridge and microwave very inconvenient Bathroom old rusted fittings door blocks the shower Bathroom light too bright Whole area seems unsafe you have to swipe your room key to activate the elevator which suggests it might be unsafe

Staff was nice, bed room was clean, breakfast was okay

Clean and comfortable. Got in late and the parking lot was chock full so had to jockey around to park. But service was efficient n courteous and the room spotless

Great welcome reception very friendly and helpful Our room had a view to the parking lot …?and you can hear a lot even when you never open the window. Omelette breakfast are awful but other things are OK. A lot of renovation is needed in the bathroom.
