Holiday Inn Express NYC BROOKLYN - SUNSET PARK by IHG, an IHG Hotel

The hotel was in a bit of an odd place next to the train yard for the subway, but super close to the subway, and a safe family neighborhood.

It was a good experience, just the location was a little bit off

Nice area but not a lot of parking available. Staff was friendly, room was clean, facilities looked great. The only thing that gave me trouble was the tv wasnt connected to wifi so I was not able to cast anything from my phone.

They give me room full with sperm I ask it on other room but he told me cannot give me different room because I stay for just the night I went there with my wife and we just no stay that hotel I just make checking and check out they show too give me money back

Hotel was decent inside...

Location is about a block from a train stop which is convenient, room was a good size and checking in was easy. Room was clean, Dove toiletries were provided. I'd definitely stay again

Comfortable, quiet, clean. Nice breakfast. Highly recommend.

It was a nice property abd the room was sufficient. Unfortunately, there were no comfortable chairs in the room. You had to sit on the bed or on those very small insafe little seats. The truck noise at 5 in the morning was annoying and there is no convenient parking. The garage next door is expensive. Not sure if i would stay at that property again.

Very clean hotel, all of the employees were nice and professional. I had a great stay with me family.

Street noise is quite loud.

Clean and comfortable

The room was very cold. The staff came and adjusted the thermostat to make it warmer so I could sleep, but the thermostat was not kicking in. A room change was not possible because they were totally booked. There is nothing worse than taking a hot shower only to come out to a cold room. I could not sleep, the sheets were cold, and it was impossible to get comfortable. I got up in the morning with a runny nose and sneezing. I've stay at this hotel numerous times with no issues. It's unfortunate that this visit did not work for me.

Neighborhood looks a little sketchy but it’s not bad. The hotel, unfortunately looks out on some garages across the street and they are pretty messy. In back of the hotel is the train tracks and a cemetery beyond that. So not a beautiful location. OTOH it was pretty quiet. The staff are nice. Rooms were good. Comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast was decent. There is a subway stop just down the street, 9th Ave. It’s not clear when you arrive but you can pull into the adjacent garage and park there for $33 per night. Not bad really Once we got past the shabby surroundings we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.
