Homewood Suites by Hilton Princeton

My stay at this hotel was the worst when I got there upon arrival I found out that the pool was not able to be access due to the hotel being under renovations. Then I went to my room and my room had a smell and the guy at the front desk advised me that there was very limitations to the rooms because the Ovations that was going on the hotel so I knew it was going to be no reason for me to attempt to try to get a different room. I dealt with that then the next morning at 8 o’clock in the morning even though check out at this hotel is at 12 PM EST I was awaken by consistent loud banging so this hotel decided that it’s good to have renovations occur seven days a week even on a Sunday morning when you’re just trying to sleep in to say, I am disappointed in this hotel to say I am disgusted by this hotel is not even the words I want to use. I am pissed that I even decided to stay there. I am annoyed at the fact that I had to endure such nonsense. They should have closed the hotel altogether if they’re gonna be doing renovations and they shouldn’t be doing renovation work on the weekends when people probably want to sleep in , and then when I called the front desk, they didn’t care that I was awaken early in the morning. I will never stay at this hotel ever again.

Very convenient to everything - excellent location. Easy in and out.

It’s very noisy and very hard to go to sleep. Had to get up to change into a different room. Otherwise, the hotel staff are very friendly.

Front desk staff was great. Cleanliness of room was not good at all.

I would not recommend this place one bit. It is overpriced and we had nothing but problems from the get-go. Our first room had no heat they wanted to put us in another room and upcharge us $60 every night I was very upset. The second room had a plumbing issue in the kitchen they came to fix it left the pipe off and did not tell us so we had a minor flood in the kitchen. We gave it another benefit of the doubt went for breakfast the next morning in an hour earlier they ran out of food they finally corrected it later. And the last adventure was we went to go swimming a heated pool while we walked in the air conditioner was on the room was about 40° and the pool was equal to the room temperature was not about to swim in that. It was way overpriced I would not recommend this place at all very sad made for a horrible experience especially being in the Princeton area I'm very disappointed and disgusted I didn't bother telling the manager yet but I will I should get compensated something back I would take them off of hotels.com if I were you have a lovely evening never had this experience before very sad

Property was under renovation, but was still presentable. Convenient location.

Good location for visiting Princeton. Restaurants also nearby along with shopping options.

Besides cars, it is hard to access to the hotel.

Quiet place, friendly staff. Sound proof could be better improved. Shower place needs some serious renovation, the shower door looks a bit disgusting.

We usually stay at Homewood Suites around the county, and always have a good experience. this was a very average stay. They are remodeling soon and looked like they gave up trying to keep up the amenities and customer basics in preparation for the remodel.
