The property was very clean and tidy. The location was ideal, next to a train station. Earplugs were provided for noise, although I did not need them. The pool area was clean. It’s an easy location to get transportation in and out of. The parking garage is not complementary, and if you request a late check out, there is a $25 charge. There’s quite a bit of construction going on around the property, so parking is extremely limited, and parking in the garage is the best option at this point in time. Just be prepared to pay for it. The area is walkable in the sense that there’s a coffee shop and a sandwich shop nearby. The coffee shop is very expensive, so you may want to venture a bit further out for some more affordable breakfast.

The stay here was excellent. It was clean and stocked with the essentials. My room was by a construction site but thats something you cant help
Communication was great and any questions i had was answered timely, room very clean, parking was fine, quiet overall. Would stay again.

Our family recently visited our oldest daughter for her birthday and decided to stay at Kasa at Cortland NoDa Charlotte for a long weekend. The apartment was beautiful, modern, spacious, clean and well appointed with luxurious bedding bath and pool towels. Great location within walking distance to breweries, coffee shops and Optimist Hall which features shops and restaurants in an indoor/outdoor food court setting. Kasa at Cortland NoDa Charlotte sent Prearrival checklists and detailed instructions for check in and check out by email and text. Early check in was requested and granted to our party although a follow up call for an update was required. Absolutely loved our stay and would recommend to others visiting the NoDa Charlotte area. We will be back!!

I stayed in a 2R/2B apt. The property is new and well maintained. I'm very satisfied. Besides the noise from the train and road. which they provided the earplugs for us. I have no complaints.

Difficult to find the fitness center and communication to assist was not good. Ended up bothering a resident as we accidentally attempted to access his apartment but he was understanding and helped us locate it.

I had to contact the company for check-in details when I arrived. I was in a hurry to get in by 4pm (check-in time) as I had plans to get ready for. When I contacted them, they responded quickly, but did not share why the check-in instructions were not already available, which was stressful -- especially after a long drive and while knowing I had limited time to get ready for my plans. Ultimately, I received check-in details only 10 minutes after check-in time; however, I received no explanation of what was going on. Given their reputation for inflexibility with their rules (based on other reviews), I find this unacceptable.
All that said, besides check-in, my stay was lovely. The property is clean, the gym was better furnished than I expected and street parking was available so I was glad I didn't pay for parking in advance (or otherwise -- although, this reminds me to double check my final statement).

Everything lived up to our expectations with two exceptions (one major, one minor):
Kasa does not tell you that there are noise sensors in the unit. The building fire alarms went off while we were not there. We got text messages saying that we were exceeding the noise levels of the unit and risked being fined and evicted. We did get it sorted out, but it was very stressful.
The description of the unit claimed that there was a coffee maker. There wasn't ... it was an electric tea kettle with coffee bags provided.

Have stayed at another Kasa property and loved it so we had high hopes. Really didn’t care as much for this one. Positives: It’s right next to the rail, which is convenient. Parking was great too. Negatives: The apt was pretty small and floors could’ve been cleaner. There were very few amenities; not even a Keurig or coffee maker. The fire alarm that went off twice. (Firemen didn’t seem happy about the false alarms either). Overall, I’d pick a different place next time.

The apartment was spacious and clean. We had to purchase a parking space and leave our other car out on the street beside the complex. (Which was no big deal) One of the building key fobs didn't work and we found that the matress kinda rolled you to the middle. It was a well equipped kitchen and tge bathrooms were lovely.

It was an amazing place we will definitely stay there each time we come to Charlotte and we come at least twice a month. This was by far the best place that we have stayed since Coming to Charlotte over the past couple years.
