La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Orlando I Drive/Conv Ctr

Property is stuck in 90’s, carpet are dirty all around, rooms are not well maintained, everything u see is about to fallout.

Ours was a 2 day stay to visit our son. The hotel itself looked and felt like an up scale facility. Just a couple issues to mention; our air conditioner periodically had a knocking/thud sound. When we arrived the lobby elevator was out of order. No problem for us because we entered through the door at the back of the lot and there was an elevator close. The elevator was fine for the first few times that we used it, but on Sunday evening we were heading for dinner and we got stuck in the elevator. The door closed, but the elevator didn't move. We were on the 6th floor. We tried to get it to move by choosing a different floor on the button panel, but nothing. After about a minute or so we just pushed the open door button and it finally opened. We got out and used the stairs. My husband used the elevator later and it got stuck again. He discovered that the door wasn't closing all the way so it apparently didn't trip a sensor to indicate it was closed so it could start moving. He was able to get it to close and then it started moving. The other available elevator door was having issues with the door closing also. The continental breakfast was adequate, The area was very clean and we enjoyed eating our breakfast out on the patio area. All of the staff were very friendly and our room was roomy and nice. The beds were very comfortable! We will likely stay here again when we are visiting our son. Hopefully the elevators can be taken care of by then.

Great location, across the street from Icon Park, many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Unfortunately, the hotel needs updating, our door closed but did not feel secure, the safety latch was broken, the toilet was cracked but not leaking, the dresser drawers had to be wiggled to shut and the mattresses felt old.

Not much of a continental breakfast. No proteins. Only waffles, bagels, cereal, and muffins offered

The hotel was great! The bed was comfy, everything was clean, and it was quiet. Breakfast started at 7am, not 6am like the website says, so that threw my schedule off a little bit. Overall, I was very happy and I would definitely stay here again.

Room was great but only one elevator for entire building. Also internet was extremely slow. Employees were great.

The front desk staff was excellent. I arrived earlier and theybhad a room available for us. The price was perfect for what we were needing to do. The only thing I will say is the beds they need to be upgrade. You could see the U shape on the mattress and that was super uncomfortable to sleep in. Other than that everything was on point and perfect.

Elevator was broke for a week. No hot food

I haven’t stayed at La Quinta in a while, maybe a few years.. I will say that the this particular location was quite disappointing. The best part of the this hotel is the pool, proximity to food, International (where there are tons of food options and a few attractions, like Icon park etc) and Universal Studios being so close by - literally an 8 min ride.. The free breakfast is okay for a quick bite - toast, boiled eggs, yogurt, bagels, coffee, cereal/oatmeal and waffles.. Cleanliness was subpar and I ended up cleaning up a small urine puddle right on the side of the toilet. GROSS! AC was just okay. I ask for “light housekeeping” just for the bathroom on day 3 and left my room at at 8am that morning.. Surprise, surprise, I can back from a long hot day at Universal and no house keeping and requested towels or toilet paper.. When I called to inquire the front desk person was a little snarky.. don’t forget shampoo and conditioner because if you ask for a few you’ll be questioned.. rooms outdated, pool furniture needs to be upgraded badly!!! It look like a hot sheets motel in the pool area.. pool could also use some extra cleaning and the toilet will easily get clogged - not enough force to bring the tissue down.. While it wasn’t the absolute worse, it wasn’t the best either..

Convenient location, near a lot of food and activities. Bed was comfy. Building needs a renovation. Not very clean overall

Property is poorly maintained. No rooms available with working AC when we checked in. Elevators need major service. Had to buy shower shoes didn't trust the bath tub.

Kimberly did a fantastic job of checking us in and gave us a great room.

The hotel is in a great location but in need of repair. The bathroom had mold and crud in all corners and an old cruddy floor. The shower handle had mold and was dripping. The elevator looked from 30’yewrs ago. Only one elevator to service 7 floors. The outside of the hotel exterior building has mold I would not stay here again.

Hotal was very clean nice staff. The air conditioning in our room the first night didn't work. So we had to swich rooms the next night. Breakfast was just waffels. And took them forever to keep up supply and demand. The tv in our 2 room didn't work and their air conditioning went our also.

Great service

I stayed here for 5 nights while in town for a conference. The room was inexpensive, so I got what I paid for. Overall it wasn't bad and I really only slept in the room. I did not use any of the other amenities other than a muffin from breakfast. The water in the bathtub/shower dripped constantly and never got fixed. The floors seemed to not be vaccuumed very well in some locations. The facility is older and in need of some updates, but for a few nights where I wasn't trying to live in luxury, it worked fine.
