Hello, I stayed at La Quinta capitol in Austin through Expedia, was given room 327 which didn’t have a lock and I had to put a chair by the door handle with very little sleep. I expect to get my full money back as the key would not work because the door wouldn’t lock yet when I brought it to the staff’s attention they were irked and informed most of the doors in the hotel are like that. The room was clean and there were no bedbugs. There was a pool, free breakfast and coffee in the lobby.
That is the entire list of positives.
The bathroom was filled with mold or mildew.

The lady that checked us in was good. And that is all that was good with our stay. You cannot call what they put out a breakfast. The sausage, egg cheese, muffins were still frozen!

Property overall was ok, there was a sign in the lobby that read pardon our progress, but i didnt see any construction going on anywhere. The room was musty and smelled moldy, there was mold on the shower, stains on bathroom wall,the thermostat fo the heat and ac was broke of the wall and just laying on the ac unit, the carpet was stained up, there was paint and masking tape all on top and side of microwave. I opened the chest of drawers and there was trash in the top drawer, the shower dripped constantly and would not turn all the way off. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is flea bitten and dirty. The room was fairly clean but the tub had stains and the commode had dirt rings the paint in the bathroom was starting to curdle. The gym was closed and looked like it had been so for some time. Not worth the money paid. Other guests were noticing, too.

Paid the room price but wasn’t told ahead of time I’d also have to pay $35 to park on site. It was very dirty, not restocked with any toiletries, tissue, etc. Dark stains of some sort on the shower curtain, and the bathroom door did not close.
