Motel 6 Soledad, CA

We were staying overnight to hike Pinnacles National Park. Room was spacious and clean. We were disappointed that the hot tub was freezing cold as well as the pool especially since we picked this hotel for those amenities. When we spoke to the front desk clerk she said that those features weren't available.

The bed was uncomfortable. It was very high so difficult to climb in to.The mattress was strange - it seemed to be made of thick foam so one sank down into it. Also, finding the TV channels was far more complex than in other hotels. The receptionist was friendly, and it was great to have hot drinks available in reception at all times.

Adequate room and beds were comfortable. Didn't appreciate the advertised hot tub when it had cold, brackish/dirty water in it. Tub had not seemed to be cleaned when we were there (nothing terrible, but quite a few hairs in it). Bathroom / vanity area light strobed on and off.

Check in was 3p- room was not cleaned before I got there … no towels. Brought later by staff because they “forgot to clean room”…

There aren’t many options by Pinnacles National Park (West Entrance). This ended up being a great call, we were hesitant to stay at a Motel 6, but ended up having a good experience. The room had a lot of lighting options, we slept well and there were a lot of security cameras at the facility which made us feel safe. Super close to the limit food & store options in the area which was also a plus (3 min drive). Checked in a little early and ended up arriving to Pinnacles with a 20 minute drive on a Wednesday afternoon and saw almost saw no one on our hike. I would recommend staying here if you are headed to the national park.

Very pleasant experience

The motel was very clean, which we appreciated. The staff was very friendly. It was perfect for our trip to the Pinnacles National Park.

It was great. The only thing that we wish the hot tub and pool would've have been working after a long day of hiking in the National Park.

Description stated that there was a jacuzzi and pool. The jacuzzie and pool were not working and would not be available until after 4/30/25. We would have gone to a cheaper hotel had we known that.

I always get excellent customer service. The people at the front desk are nice and friendly. The rooms are well kept clean.

The room was nice and clean. The fridge was sooo cold it froze our Kombucha, the coffee was available only in the office so that was a negative for me bc I have to have coffee in the morning. We chose this place bc it has a hot tub, and after a long drive it sounded like an excellent idea, bad part was that although the hot tub is a selling point, they don’t tell you that it’s closed until later in the year.. The peace and quiet was a big positive . The king bed was a lil too firm for me. Overall, for the convenience of going to Soledad, the Motel was a good choice. I’m sure I will enjoy it more in the summer. 😊

Love the cleanliness of the room and the convenience of the Windmill Restaurant

I slipped in the bathtub. Bathroom floor was not very clean. Saff were efficient and friendly.

I liked that it was in a good location and easy to book, check in and out. The room was nice. The only thing i didnt like is that they didnt have breakfast.
