Motel West

A cheap motel, but it was clean and nothing was broken. Everything functioned with no problems. Furnishings, shower curtains, draperies, and linen were cheap, but fresh and clean. Very nice for the price range. Better than I expected. Area of town can't be helped. It isn't unsafe, but there is currently a homeless crisis going on in the area. I gave the ratings I did because there was minimal staff and amenities, but the staff that I dealt with were kind, courteous, and helpful. The amenities were only necessities, but they were there and fresh. As I said, better than I was expecting for the price range.

Paid 300 for a room I wouldn’t pay 60 for owners were amazing though

Everything about the property was great! It was comfortable, clean, and the bed and bedding were super comfy!! The covers were very appropriate for summer instead of being stuck with only a 2" thick comforter when it's hot outside!! We loved it!

Easy stop to enjoy Bend and the breweries on the river

We were visiting Bend for some shows at HH Amphitheater, and rates were wild at most of the chain type places we would ordinarily stay. I read reviews of Motel West carefully and decided that it would be alright for our three nights in town. I knew what I was booking - this isn’t a Hilton. Still, I wouldn’t return. Plenty of things were fine. The rooms were clean. The bathrooms were newer. The fridge worked well. The location is good. We weren’t disturbed by other guests. The beds weren’t as bad as they could have been but I certainly wouldn’t call them comfortable. The Motel West has a distinct scent, and it’s not pleasant. The internet worked for the first four hours of our stay, and then not again at all. I called the front desk who would tell me it would be fixed tomorrow, and hang up on me. Half of the outlets in the room did not work, which was sucky for us because we were staying after camping for about a week, and had some stuff we wanted to charge up, but we couldn’t even keep our phones charged. I had to charge power banks on the one working outlet while we were out for the day so that at night one of us could use the working outlet and the other would use the power bank. The AC worked, but not well. It was probably 10° warmer in the room than the unit said. We heard staff yelling at other guests for things like… using the ice machine, and asking for help when the vending machine ate their money. I’d probably try Cascade across the street before returning here.

We were only there to sleep but appreciated the size of the room and the refrigerator was helpful. Would stay there again.

On Expedia was information provided about the property with breakfast included. The property is not providing a breakfast. The room was smelling bad.

No matter what is advertised, they DO NOT have internet. If you need a pillow, bring one. Their pillows are the worst ever. Linens were very worn. I don’t even want to know the last time the comforter was washed, it was very old. The hotel was relatively clean. It was very old, dark and outdated. The couch and recliner were very old, worn, and dated. Room was very dark. Great shower pressure. Our AC did not work properly. They offered to come look at it but at this point, we did not want anyone in our room when we were not going to be there. Would not come back.

It's a motel, room was ok. Shower and bathroom was small but at least great water pressure in the shower. I wouldn't take my gf here as she wouldn't care for it. It's ok for sleeping. Area wasn't bad and I did Uber late at night with no problems.

Very clean, simple, friendly staff and helpful. Left a wallet and they found and returned it no problem.

Helpful service, we arrived around midnight and they checked us in. Carpet is a little tired. Beds were comfy. Clean over all. Glad to have fridge and microwave.

I have surgery at 8 am I was mislead and robbed of my gas money to get home.I want my money back this is a nighjtmare

The pizza nearby was not to my liking . They deliver to the hotel and highly recommended. I’m from Chicago (pizza lover ) the pizza was like cardboard with little sauce , little meat and cheesy garlic pizza was just as bad .. would not recommend , plus they screwed up my order which they quickly made right .
