Valet was easy although $45 a day, but the valet staff was very friendly. The room was large and very cute. Comfortable bed, nice little heated pool. bar with a happy hour.

Such a fantastic hotel! We stayed for 4 days and fell in love with the place. The unique style was exactly what I was looking for to make our stay fun. The courtyard was the cutest! So nice to sit out there and enjoy the ambience. Even the restaurant was so cozy and the staff was so friendly! The bed was a bit too firm, but that's just my personal preference. The location was primo, too; close to do many great places all in short walking distance. Overall we LOVED our stay and absolutely will stay again in the future!

Local excelente, muitas facilidades na região. Mas o quarto tem alguns problemas. A torneira da pia tem pouquíssima água. E a TV funciona muito mal.

I loved how convenient and clean the property was. The location is perfect because it’s next to everything you would need restaurants, convenience stores, coffee shops. Only complaint I would have was that the bathroom door was not a door that fully closed. It’s a barnyard sliding door.

Easily walk to the Grove and Farmers Market. I read some reviews about noise...we did not have that experience...nice stay, everything was easy, no stress experience...the SoCal way.

Short Stories is a cute renovated motel. We stayed in a Jr King Suite- but the room was an average hotel room size. The beds are great and it’s got a nice shower. Quality of towels were pretty poor- like gym towels, thin scratchy and small.
The front desk staff was pretty apathetic. The bartender and waiters were friendly and attentive.
Nice location across the street from the Grove and The farmers market. We rented a car an in and out with the valet was quick and convenient.

The four days we stay there they only did the beds, but never through away the trash or clean the room. I didn't received nothing as a VIP
