Sonesta Select Seattle Renton Suites

I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times before and they are wonderful. But this time they had a lot of kids staying at the hotel. These kids ran around all night on the upper floors. I was very disappointed in lack of security or even supervision. I don’t know if I’ll go back next time I’m in town.

Clean and comfy hotel for the price.

The stay was good. The pool was closed.

Clean. Easy

Blood stains on the bedsheet. Mop was left in the shower. I told the front desk, but it was never taken care of.

Convenient location to the airport and the parking was readily available. Breakfast (included in hotel fee) was just average but plentiful.

Lobby near the elevator smells. Toilet has pee stains. We asked for an extra towels the lady that answered the phone was rude she said “pick it up here!” then hung up the phone without saying please / thank you! I place the do not disturb sign outside the door, because we dont want anyone cleaning while we are out but still went inside and place the sign on the counter.

I liked that the area was relatively quiet and parking was never a problem.

We were visiting from Boston, it was out first time in Washington so we didnt know what to expect, I decided to stay at this hotel based on other peoples reviews and it was not dissapointed at all! The hotel is clean, modern, front desk staff very nice and friendly, they have a shuttle that will take you to places near the area if you need it. Rooms clean, bed super comfy, big screen tv and the showers super modern and clean.

Very clean & great location for the offices around.

Beds were comfortable and were spacious Breakfast was good and had plenty of options that my kids enjoyed. Hotel room looked clean but upon further inspection was not as clean. Bathroom tiles still had stains in them. Floors and corners were dirty. Sink had stains. No extra toilet paper. Pool was cold even though it was indoors. Room key cards kept getting dis-activated and sometimes it took several times to get them to work around the hotel. We had to go back to the front desk and get them fixed.

We stayed here after we got back from our family vacation to DR. It was just what we needed to recuperate from a long day of traveling. We needed a suite with two queen beds and a pullout couch bed and guess what they had exactly that. Plus a small kitchen with sink, fridge, microwave and small table. The bathroom was a good size also. The staff were super helpful and got us everything we needed. For less than 250 a night it was well worth it. They served a wonderful breakfast in the morning and freshly brewed coffee. We will definitely be back.

We’ve stayed at this property before and have had no issues- which is why we booked again. We request Sonesta properties. This stay was beyond disappointing. Checking in was fine, however, our room had several non-working lights, half of them actually, the phone didn’t work and there were several dark hairs(my husband and I are blondes, my daughter has red hair) left on the floor and in towels. We arrived late, had errands and a very late dinner reservations- THEN we discovered these issues, so they didn’t have the ability to solve the issues at 10:30pm. To top the stay off, our family was getting ready to leave and at 10:30am(with an 11am checkout), the cleaning person let themselves in without knocking WHILE my 14 year old daughter was changing. Thankfully we had secured the crossbar so they could enter, but this was entirely inappropriate. They could have walked right in on my minor daughter and it was completely unacceptable. I brought this up to the desk clerk at checkout and they smirked, and said “sorry ma’am”. That was it. There was not even a mention of talking to the cleaning crew, which was absolutely warranted. I’m so disappointed. As a repeat booker of this property- never again.

Monday night I called front desk because rooms were not cleaned( 3rd night) and trash was very full and the lady working that night at the front desk yelled at me and told me to bring my own trash downstairs and they only clean after the 3rd day. Bad customer service. Shower curtains had mold and i have pictures. Pool was dirty it had like white stuff on water. I would never stay here again.

This hotel was a decent place to stay within a fairly easy commute of Seattle. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was good. The pool looked a little small, but we didn't have time to try it. The gym was ok - the precors were squeaky, but the treadmills, bike, and weights worked well. There seemed to be plenty of stores and restaurants in the area.

Clean room nice toiletries nice staff only thing was there was a loud humming noise both mornings that was a little tough on my ears but that wasn’t a big deal. Really nice exonomy hotel would recommend anytime

Great place to stay with kids! Pool was under construction but other options were available. Great overall! Definitely stay there again!

Indoor swimming pool is closed for unknown dates. Otherwise property is good for the amount of money I paid for.
