SpringHill Suites by Marriott Tuckahoe Westchester County

Found property to be dirty and our hallway (3rd floor) by the elevators had a strong “mildew” type of smell that we had to sneak each time wa came /left. We never received hskp service even though we requested it. On Saturday I went to hskp for towels (black female on 3rd floor) and NEVER received them. I asked to cut 1 day and was told at c/i (female) she would make that change only to be told at c/o that it was never done and I have to call Expedia. It’s summed up out experience and I will be returning to Hilton after this poor, dirty, smelly and no hospitality experience. Also, breakfast was poor as the fresh fruit looked old and inedible - bananas were BROWN, apples were bruised and oranges were small and had brown stains on them. Horrible breakfast so we did. It be get that value of the “free” breakfast.

Overall everything was good, but the soundproofing was really bad.

Let me start out by saying I’m super lazy & never leave reviews lollll! I started staying at this hotel when it opened around the pandemic. I have family in the area and it’s really close. I’ve stayed here about 7 times in about 5 years. The last time was Easter weekend. There must have been some high school/college games or tournaments going on because the hotel was filled with young people and their families lounging all around the lobby area, the seating outside the elevator etc. I get it, if this is close to where tournaments are happening it’s convenient for them. I just found myself not wanting to go to the lobby area, there was no where to move around- kids on their phones watching videos w sound on- it’s alot 2nd - the rooms are starting to show their wear which is normal in 5 years but My ceiling and walls had stains , the day bed/couch really needed a cleaning so I didn’t on it, my shower head sprayed out water from the top (my partner fixed) and some of our towels were shabby. On the 2nd day of our 3 day stay, housekeeping came in without knocking and we were in bed. Also 1 elevator was down. There are cheaper places to stay in the vicinity - but I liked that this is a Marriott property & felt a little boutique-y and was very clean so I didn’t mind spending the extra $$. But housekeeping doesn’t even come everyday & with the rooms showing wear, I honestly don’t think I’ll stay here again & will pay less and take my lowered expectations to a nearby Hampton inn.

Stayed only for 12 hours, clean , quiet

Everything was more than satisfactory. We always stay at this hotel when visiting nearby family. Bed is comfy, food is good and service is friendly.

The AC was not working properly, otherwise the stay was pleasant.

So the towels smell bad, like something sour, then 1 morning while me and partner was asleep, someone came in our room then closed the door behind them. I was pissed off.

We loved our stay!!! We love Marriott Bonvoy! We stayed at one in Salt Lake City & now Tuckahoe! Don’t think I want to stay anywhere else. Highly recommend.

I liked how clean it was, smooth check-in, and the comfortable beds. I was surprised the breakfast didn't have water available with the food. There was a water container with nice fruit infused water at the desk, but that was empty occasionally, and one morning the worker said they were out of complimentary water when I asked at breakfast. He suggested I could go to the fitneas center or buy a bottle of water. My kids were also hoping for the hotel to have a waffle maker. Other than breakfast, though, the hotel was what we were expecting.

Great space and very clean

I paid a lot of money for my stay. There was no location , the heater kept sending cool air instead of warm air. The rooms were done only i asked. When I asked one day @ 11 a m , my room was not done until after 4:30 p m.

The stay was pleasant and i highly recommend the hotel. I recommend for the housekeeping staff to pay more atttention to details like the dishwasher. It was not emptied out.
