Maria and Brian Chamberlain were very friendly and welcoming. As it is a working farm, Brian was busy when we first arrived, late in the afternoon. Maria came out to greet us, as their were two houses just off the driveway and my wife and I didn't know which one to enter so to register. She quickly showed us to our room and introduced us to four other guests staying for an artist show. The Chamberlains had horses, donkeys, chickens, cats and a very friendly dog. Unfortunately, we were only booked for one night stay. Maria graciously showed my wife her rhubarb garden and even gave her some cuttings to take with her (fortunately, they survived the plane ride back home to California)! Brian gave me a nice tour of his farm and the personalities of the animals, an indication of his chores and some information about the surrounding neighborhood and area characteristics. I almost forgot to indicate that upon our arrival, Maria gave us a $15.00 gift certificate for what I believe she described as, "some of the best Mexican food in Northern New Hampshire". The very nice guests added to the experience!

This property offer a warm bed and breakfast service. The owner Maria took care of us very nicely especially, when we lockout of our own room accidentally late at night. At the checking in time, she took our breakfast order for the next morning, and when we come down next morning, it was served in a few minutes. The back yard deck offer a comfortable seating area. Though there's not much things to do, yet great experience to relax and reload. One thing you may want to know before you decide to book, the bathroom is shared and there is no bathtub. If you don't care about it, it is great place to enjoy slow and relax time with your love, friends or by yourself.

Maria and her husband own the beautiful newly remodeled farmhouse with several bedrooms with bathrooms. Our room was small but the jet tub and bathroom were perfect. The sitting area and the eating area were cozy and inviting. Maria prepared a breakfast of our choice with many options. We ordered the night before and she served a delicious hot breakfast. Thank you to them for a wonderful visit.

We had a lovely overnight stay at Oxbow. The farm & Inn is very charming & welcoming. Maria was also very welcoming and her breakfast was amazing! We stayed in the Goose Eye room & because I booked it on Expedia I didn't realize it was a shared bathroom. Not a big deal, it just would have been a tiny bit more convenient to have a mirror in the bedroom as well. My only other comment is the queen bed mattress is very soft & sags to the middle. The twin bed was very comfortable. Overall, we wish we could have stayed an extra day to enjoy the property & area more.

I would stay here for an extended vacation without hesitation. It’s beautiful. This inn is a delight. The owners are super friendly and welcoming. The common area and patio outside are beautiful. Bedrooms are very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. If you happen to be in the area this is a no brainer. Just make sure you pay attention to which room you book because some have shared bathrooms if that’s an issue for you.

Serene and peaceful with beautiful views on nature and the mountains. Couldn’t ask for two more caring and hospitable people that run the bnb-owners. Breakfast was excellent, all homemade. You can definitely tell they are trying to do farm to table. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for rnr, hiking or any activity close to nature.
