This hotel makes it hard to feel like a guest.
They've looked for ways to automate the work of hotel staff but it adds work for guests making the stay more of a hassle than a vacation. The self check in was broken during my stay, but there were no signs stating this. The parking garage (which is $20/night) requires using a QR code and text messaging to enter and pay. This is alienating to a lot of guests and was confusing to use. The iron and ironing board are locked together because they care more about theft than making it easy to iron clothes!
Several escalators, elevators and restrooms were out of service or closed during my stay.
Avoid the Strat. It's rundown, cheap in quality, and lacks hospitality.

Has the potential to be a 5 star. Rooms were very badly upgraded ,must be an old upgrade they advertise. The doors have big gaps under them and you can talk to the people in nearby rooms in bathrooms.

This was our second time staying there, would return again.
Please be informed that coffee maker, microwave was not available inside the room during this stay which was new to us. There are many restaurants inside STRAT.

The pool area had limited hours. The lounge chairs are dirty, music so loud it's hard to speak to anyone. One day there was only one lifeguard so half the pool was closed and then another day they were planning for some event so you couldn't sit on the one side of the pool. A pool should be a place to relax but not at this hotel!

You get what you pay for not a fancy hotel but nice enough. The casino area has a very strong smell of smoking but other than that it’s a decent hotel to stay at on a budget.
