Solo trip, only for one night. I booked a private room on the ground floor. It was crazy hot for me and the room was still cool, so I enjoyed it. The staff was very helpful when needed. They made me feel welcome :)

Divina posada muy bien ubicada. Ideal para estar en Colonia del Sacramento, ya que es una casona antigua restaurada que mantiene elementos de época. Un hermoso patio interior con fuente, adorables detalles y la amabilidad del personal lo hacen muy disfrutable. Nuestra habitación era amplia, muy cómoda e impecable higiene. Con AA, y también ventilador de techo, no sufrimos para nada del calor agobiante que hacia afuera. El desayuno impecable, con mucha variedad casera, y la atención mejor. Las chicas de recepción muy amables en todo momento, y nos dieron buenas recomendaciones. Ofrecen unas divinas bicicletas gratis para recorrer la ciudad. Y esta muy cerca de todo para ir caminando. Recomiendo y volvería.

The staff and accomodations were beyond exceptional. Extremely kind, considerate, and welcoming are words that come to mind with the staff, and the accomodations were authentic, quaint, and really perfect in my opinion. This place is quite charming. Additionally, the use of the bikes made getting around outside of the historic district very easy. This is not the first time we have stayed there but it was the longest (over a week). We stayed there back in 2009 with older family members, and we knew that if we had a chance to return to Colonia and needed a Posada, Posada de la Flor would be our top choice. We are also quite thrilled to see that so many other visitors enjoyed this quiet gem during our recent stay. It was busy, but they treated each guest as if they were their only guest. PASASTE con exito!

The location of the property was great! Very close (easy walking distance) to the historic sights in Colonia. The rooftop terrace had a beautiful view of the river and the patio had jasmine and other plants growing all around. They had bikes available to ride around the city. The room was a bit small and the hot water was sparing. The staff was wonderful! And the included breakfast was good.

Sweet, authentic posada right alongside the river and near the heart of the old town. The dwellings were simple but tidy and you can borrow a bike at no additional cost. The biggest highlights for me were the complementary breakfast and afternoon tea (they offer the most divine baked goods and treats) and the in-house masseuse, Fabiana. An excellent choice for a night or two in colonia!

Lovely spot in Colonia. We walked from the Buqbus ferry to the Posado. Bumpy roads but that is to be expected in this old town. The courtyard is a gem, a little piece of gorgeous history. The room was just fine. Simple bed, tv, bathroom. You come here for the destination rather than the dwellings. The breakfast in the morning was full of sweet breads and fruits, juices cereals and milk. At night we played a series of board/card games in their dining area, all provided by them. When we arrived early they stored our luggage and gave us a bag of sweet crossaints. We had access to a map and their bikes and the host pointed us to some places to wander. I would Suggest you stay here unless you need super posh dwellings, but then you miss out on the quaint surroundings of this little city.
