The room was spotless, change of linen and towels available every day, great breakfast buffet, and an outstanding staff.

Positives: location is ideal for visiting all of the key historical sites. Clean spacious rooms, excellent breakfast, excellent staff. Hot showers without a wait! One thing to keep in mind is that this is an EXTREMELY touristy area. (Everything is over priced, compared to other parts of Vietnam), but still cheap compared to western pricing. opportunities for improvement: The WiFi in the rooms was very unpredictable and very slow/weak at best. Rooms do not have streaming smart TVs so you’re stuck with local channels. (*Note, If I had seen these comments when booking, I would have ignore them. However, after 2 months of travel in east Asia we’ve learned, the hard way, that strong WiFi in the rooms is an absolute must in 2025. ) Keep this in mind when booking. You will NOT be able to check emails, make WhatsApp calls or buffer a Netflix/Youtube program in your room. If I had it to do over again, I would have picked a hotel with reviews that report a better WiFi infrastructure. Everything else was great.

Feels like brand new property kept to Western standards. Staff was exceptionally nice and even helped us when we returned and they were sold out. Great location with central tour bus pickup literally across the street.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, also clean and comfortable room. The only thing that wasn't up to scratch was the fridge didn't really keep drinks cold and the air-conditioning just coped. All in all it was a good stay.

Very good location close to the big market hall. The front desk staff are the best! They are always prepared with maps and recommendations. We felt well taken care of. Lots of nearby food and drink options. Hallways areas do not have AC, but room AC was great. Beds are firmer than we are used to. Superb staff made up for these small shortcomings.
