Shabby. The photos of the room should be updated. The operators should really try harder to improve their standards. I have worked in hospitality for decades and have traveled extensively in developing nations, I expect more. When I ask for another towel, I am surprised to get one that has a hole in it. Close proximity to the night market alright; you are right on top of it. Dissatisfied? More like disappointed. I would not recommend this accommodation.

The location of Moon's Homestay is excellent if you are interested in the Hoi An ancient town and the night markets at night. We would literally sit out on a balcony over the night market, occasionally walking down to grab some spring rolls, banana pancakes, fresh fruit, etc. The hosts are very friendly and love to help you out. There is sometimes a language barrier, so we were sometimes surprised by what we received for breakfast in comparison to what we requested, so some flexibility is needed. Overall, a great base for our family vacation.

With the comfiest bed and the perfect location we couldn’t have been happier. Set right on the road of the night market, the location means you are right in the heart of the action and don’t need to be worrying about cabs. Room was basic but a nice size, great power in the shower and the bed was the comfiest yet. The night market finishes at 10 so no worries on noise. The family are the kindest and are great with where you should go to eat, things to do. The breakfast they whip up kept us both full and happy way past Lunch! We loved Hoi An and Moon’s so extended our stay.

I enjoyed exploring Hoi An, and the staff at Moon’s helped me book a cooking class, which was reasonably priced and quite enjoyable. Moon’s is literally at the night market, which is convenient, but quite noisy. We were also within walking distance of other attractions. Staff was helpful and always pleasant, and the breakfast included was tasty.

This is a quaint little homestay right at an intersection along the street where the night market is. If you're looking for quiet in the evening, this isn't it, but if you enjoy a lot of busy action, you will enjoy this. After 11 pm it's quiet, though. Old town is just a few minutes on foot away. The rooms are clean and mine had a balcony where I could smoke, although other people used it as well and so my room didn't feel very private. For the included breakfast I had the best omelet I've eaten so far in Vietnam.

Nice and clean homestay, the room is just like any cheaper hotel, great. Nice bathroom with a good shower. Perfectly located on the night market street and close to the old town. Woke up in the night from some gong at a nearby temple or pagoda but still had a nice stay here, would recommend it! Friendly staff, if the person who speak English wasn’t there then they phoned so you could get your questions answered.

Great place to stay. Very friendly family. Helpful with map on arrival. Arranged car for pick up and drop off back to airport. Fantastic banana pancakes for breakfast followed by a massive plate of fruit. Laundry washed for a good price. Would recommend.

Moon's Homestay is run by Tri and his family, who give a warm welcome throughout your stay. The homestay is of course quite basic, but the beds were comfy, the shower good, and the minibar conveniently priced the same as a shop. The homestay is next to the night market, which means it is lively - if you're into early nights, this place probably isn't for you (I'd recommend earplugs either way). It's only a couple of minutes to the bridge over to the old town, and there are plenty of bars and cafes nearby, as well as the excellent Coral Spa.
