I stayed at the Park View Hotel for 3 nights and enjoyed my stay. The room was nice and had three beds, which was great as I travel with my two children. The receptionists are really nice and greeted us with a lovely glass of lemonade. The room was spatious and clean. There's a Coffee and tea maker, fridge and a safe. We had a view of the Citadel from our window and that was nice. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, but there is a vegetarian restaurant downstairs, a café and bar that are part of the hotel. For us the only negative was the pool experience. The pool is nice but it's open to the public, so honestly. it's a complete mad house between 4 - 8:30 PM , there are way too many people and it's extremely loud, and this is exactly the time guests would want to cool off after a long day of sightseeing. On the weekends general public also comes early, very early! We were woken at 6 AM by screaming kids at the pool! I really think management should review this policy and make the pool only for guests staying at the hotel.

great location,walking distance to market an shops,Staff very pleasant and helpfull,breakfast banquet every day. nice swimming pool,Restaurant and cafe in hotel,heaps of restaurants in local,big clean airy room with balcony and city view,roof top bar. This hotel works hard to please its guests,it gets my unreseved recomendation.

Treated terribly by the staff after we reported that both we and our guests got served bad food and fell very ill. It ruined our visit to hue, spent the entire time being sick in bed. They failed to believe us and accused us of lying because they saw us go outside for 5 mins, that we spent buying medicine. Would not even remove the price of the meal in question from the bill. The manager would not even meet with us. Worst hotel stay ever

Do not expect a world class spa though, it's very basic and local. Nevertheless, the massages were still great!

I was there for a week while working at Hue University. It's a very pleasant hotel, with busloads of tour groups coming through. Some tour groups were on the ruder side, screaming in the hallway, but that isn't the hotel's fault. The restaurants are fine, not for everyday. You can sit with the locals outside by the street. It was pouring rain, so swimming wasn't an option. The spa was not busy. The massages were fine, deep tissue in character. Laundry was done in a timely manner. There is a lot of Christmas in all the hotels; this was one of them with a mechanical Santa playing the saxophone in the lobby. Breakfast was good.

This was a nice hotel. The superior room (for little extra money) was comfortable. The breakfasts were very good. The staff always welcomed us (we stayed for a week). Vietnam is very chaotic, but this was an oasis. The swimming pool was great. Suggest the cheap vegetarian restaurant which is part of the hotel.

Excellent hotel for the price we paid. The room was big and comfy, plus the hotel features a decent fitness center, a nice pool and an amazing breakfast!!! The only dark spot for us was that we had some trouble with some bus tickets that the hotel staff booked for us (they said we had to show up at a different transport company form where they actually bought the tickets from)

Had a very enjoyable stay the hotel. Excellent service, the breakfast was great, wonderful pool and garden to relax, room was spacious and very nice. Hotel staff was wonderful and friendly. All made for a lovely visit to a very lovely city in Vietnam - Hue.

This hotel is slightly off the beaten track. About a 10 minute walk to the western restaurants. This is a plus and a negative. At least it is quiet. The staff was very helpful when we made an error on our reservation. The staff does not speak a lot of english so things are a little slow at check in. Mostly westerners staying at the hotel

Although the hotel and breakfast was adequate the staff at the reception were not friendly. Their English was very poor. I would not advise booking any tours through them as they charge way in excess of the standard price. There are many cafe around where you can book tours.
