Song Lua (Silk River Villa)

The staff is super friendly and helpful; they speak fluently in English as well. They even contacted us 24 hours prior to our arrival, making sure we didn't have any questions and scheduling a pickup for us from the airport. You have a home-cooked local breakfast when you stay here. Nice river view; quiet and peaceful when you’re a little bit away from old town Hoi An. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality; we’re totally happy and impressed. I will definitely recommend it to people, and it’s definitely on my list if we’re visiting Vietnam again!

Street flooded during our stay, nothing from the front desk to remedy the situation. Also…. The flooding was only 5-10inches deeper where the hotel was… most of the road was wet but not as flooded. So many tourist had booked this boutique hotel and we were all trapped having to order a cab whenever we wanted to leave. My original booking was incorrect (2 twins instead of a king?) You can hear everything, the water didn’t stay warm longer than 5 mins. Just really really unfortunate and I hope they fix this issue. Oh yea… no elevator and no one helps you bring your luggage up. I would have gladly paid for that.

An amazing hotel we stayed in the apartment style room for 4 nights overlooking the river. Massive room with great WiFi rooms were very clean and cleaned daily. Staff were extremely helpful! Location was great close to old city but far enough away to be quiet

On our first night here I was sick and the staff were fantastic. They went out and brought dinner back for us. That is service above and beyond. The hotel is located in a residential area which was great. It was quiet and away from the main hustle of town but still only a short easy walk to restaurants and markets as well as the old town.

Stay was great. A little disappointed with the ground floor booking and basically no view of the river. Facilities and staff were great though when we arrived around 4.00 am, the staff was sleeping and we had to walk around with our bags for an hour before he responded to our calls.

We had a great 4 nights in Hoi An. The staff at the hotel made it feel like home. So helpful. We arranged a motorbike and bicycles through them. All well organised. Helped us with ideas for days out. Room was beautiful with a huge double balcony. Breakfast every morning and a 5 minute walk to the old quarter, but super quiet. Can't ask for much more! They even disposed of my old suitcase for me. Really nice new hotel.

We stayed 5 nights in one of the appartment rooms. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern being a new hotel everything is super fresh. The videos on Facebook are an accurate representation of the room. Being a family we appreciated the space of the appartment. Silk River is in a great position right on the river and the gardens around the hotel are lush. The hotel is nice retreat from the noise of Hoi An. The pool is great for cooling down after a day out. The hotel owners/staff all went out of their way to be helpful and were really friendly warm people. We would definitely stay here again

Terrible experience!!! The road was flooded by the rain and taxi couldn't enter to the hotel area. I had to make several phone calls to find the direction and had to walk 10 minutes wet by dirty water all the way upto my thigh. Hotel did not informed the situation at all until I arrived. I was so~~~ mad and disappointed. I left the hotel without staying and needed to pay extra cost to get a room again in Danang. Very~~~bad operation.

Our stay at Hoi An Silk River Villa has been excellent. From the very beginning every single bit was close to perfection. The check-in was easy and the whole staff made us feel as we were home. They recommended restaurants, close-by beaches, beautiful bars and relaxing places to rest during hot afternoons. Every morning we were greeted by warm smiles and great hospitality. For breakfast you have a great choice of meals which you can order from a menu. There is unlimited coffee (as one of the reviews before had queried) and fresh fruits and juice is served complimentary as well. The management is well organized, very friendly and warm-hearted. She spoke English very well and was able to answer every question about Hoi An, its history and its surroundings. Our room (Double Queen, Balcony, City view) was very modern, perfectly clean and even had a rain shower. The hotel offers bikes and motorbikes (scooters) upon request and the staff can also recommend great tours to explore Hoi An and its beautiful surroundings. The ancient town is easily reachable within 10 minutes by foot. Overall, our stay at Hoi An Silk River Villa has been outstanding and we highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

強くお勧めできる、とは思いません。空港送迎が時間通りにいきませんでした。予約していたにも関わらず、空港にドライバーが到着しておらず20分以上空港で待ちました。帰りの空港送りも、フロントにタクシーが到着せずこれまた20分以上の遅刻。チェックインに遅れるのではないかとハラハラしました。連泊者に対するタオル交換はありません。歴史地区まで徒歩圏内で悪くないのですが、ホテルの場所そのものは水はけのわるい路面に面したローカルの生活圏内にあり、ちょっと独特の雰囲気です。目の前にローカルカフェがあり早朝から深夜まで男性がたまってにぎやかにおしゃべりなどをしています。スタッフはとても親切でホスピタリティーは高いと思います。
