Wyndham Garden Grandworld Phu Quoc

My family stayed for 2 days, everything was normal but the hotel's cleaning department was extremely annoying. Even though we hung up the "make up room" request sign early in the morning and went out until after 1pm, the room was still dirty. It was not cleaned at all. When I called the receptionist, no one answered. When I went down to ask, the answer was that the owner only cleaned when requested. And the cleaning time is usually 4pm. So hanging a room cleaning request sign on the door has no effect, right??? I asked the staff to bring 2 towels to change, then asked the staff to clean the room, but asked to call the receptionist while calling in vain, no one picked up the phone. Then I asked to clean at 4pm, but at 3:30pm the staff knocked on the door and lost sleep. So annoying. The dishes in the room next door had been left outside for 2 days, still untouched. At 5pm, there was still no one to clean the room. When I went to clean the room at 6pm, I entered the room and the floor was dirty and very gritty. Nightgowns were thrown on the bed, not sure if they were clean or dirty, and were replaced. 4-star hotel does not have separate shampoo, conditioner, earrings, cotton pads... - climax: the day I checked in, there were 2 nightgowns, the next day the cleaning staff only left 1 balled up nightgown on the bed, not sure if it was clean or dirty. When I checked out, the hotel reported that 1 was missing. Huh? So the hotel suspected the guest of taking it? While this was the cleaning staff's fault. I asked to check the camera, took out the entire suitcase to check, but the hotel said it was not necessary to work with the staff later. But I felt very frustrated and time-consuming. Check out took more than 40 minutes while I was waiting and had to go out to ask, but the staff did not report anything. - In addition, the kids club staff had a lazy and unpleasant attitude. The child wanted to play with the foam blocks, the staff was afraid of having to rearrange them, so they tried to stop the child from pushing the foam blocks down to play. Isn't this your job? The baby did not damage or break the toys that you stopped??? - The breakfast buffet had few dishes, mostly bread and fruit, by 8am all the papaya was gone and no more was brought out??? The chicken pho was terrible. The beef pho was delicious. Chicken pho should be removed or foreigners will have a wrong view of Vietnamese pho! - The bubbles only appeared on Saturday afternoons, not on weekdays or weekends In general, I rate the hotel's hygiene quality as 1 star. The experience was not good when staying at the hotel for 2 days

Everything was great but the hotel didn't have cotton swabs and when checking out, the hotel wasn't very smooth so the guests had to wait a long time. When the check in was done, the staff didn't notify the guests 🙂

The hotel is located in the center of Grandworld so it is quite convenient to move around, but the entrance is hidden, I entered the hotel through the back gate because I couldn't find the main gate. The room is extremely minimalist, there are not even amenities (razor, sanitary napkin, cotton swabs...) and no shampoo or conditioner in the bottle, the housekeeping staff did not provide extra toothbrushes, toothpaste,... when it was their turn to clean. There is not even a lamp on the desk. The room next to me left dishes outside the room for 2 days and still no staff cleaned it. The breakfast buffet seems to be only suitable for vegetarians and Halal eaters: very few dishes have meat, some days there is only 1 dish with meat, the spices are extremely bland even though I am a bland eater, one day the spices are very strong in some braised dishes. The food lacks variety, 90% of the dishes are the same. Borrowed an umbrella from the hotel, the hotel required a deposit of 1 million to borrow 2 umbrellas, while I only brought 500k in cash. After a while, the hotel was flexible enough to borrow an umbrella with a deposit of 500k on a rainy day. The information provided by the staff was not consistent, lacked sophistication, the staff rearranged the bar stools by pushing them instead of lifting them up, creating a very unpleasant screeching sound. In general, there are too many problems with a hotel that claims to be 4 stars, I rate the service quality as only 2 stars, the facilities are okay, suitable for families with children.

The hotel is clean, located near Vinwonder, Safari, Grand World, the hotel has a nice swimming pool so the kids love it.

Friendly, enthusiastic staff, proactive in helping. Open sea view but went on a rainy day so couldn't see the sunset.

Clean room. Located in the north of the island, convenient to go to Vin Wonder, Safari. Should go by taxi for faster, the hotel bus is free but takes a lot of time. The surrounding area is boring at night, more suitable for families with children than couples Breakfast buffet is not tasty 🥲 if not to say bad huhu

My child played on the slide, splashed water for hours without getting bored. The adult pool area has relaxing loungers, very comfortable. ✅ Breakfast: quite good, many dishes suitable for both adults and children (my favorite is pancakes and stir-fried noodles 😋). ✅ Location: convenient for traveling to Safari, VinWonders, Grand World, or simply walking along the beach is also very close. ✅ Staff: polite, quick support, creating a friendly and comfortable feeling. 🌈 CONCLUSION A very suitable place for families with young children who want to relax. Spa, bar, gym,.. very suitable for family vacation. - You can take Vinbus 17,19 from the airport to the back gate of the hotel. - Go to the back gate to Grandworld, there is a Vinbus 17,19 stop from the airport, or go to Dong Duong night market, there is a tuktuk to visit Grandworld at an ok price. - There is an electric bus to take you to Vin amusement parks such as Safari, Vinwonder, Grandworld at the main gate of the hotel. - Breakfast buffet is less diverse

I went on my parents' anniversary, the hotel decorated the room for free, I was very happy about that. Besides, the breakfast buffet was also very good, especially the pho 😍

The hotel is located right in the city that never sleeps grandworld, so it is convenient to travel to entertainment areas and has a free vinbus shuttle system. Because this is the first and last stop, it is very convenient for seats on the bus.
