Victoria House is absolutely beautiful in every way. From the moment you walk through the door. Jan is a wonderful host. Nothing is too much trouble. Victoria House is spotlessly clean

Jan is such a good host, when I let her know that I caught a cold on the way to her place, Jan shared her cold remedies and picked me up some lemons for Hot toddies. The jet tub was also very nice before bed. Well organized brochures for restaurants, and things to do. I really enjoyed my stay. I hope I will be able to return one day. Thank you Jan!

I really enjoyed staying at Victoria House. The house is excellent and well maintained, and Jam is a very attentive and friendly proprietor. I greatly appreciated the condition of the room, the amenities she provided, and the location of the property. Jan is a phenomenal host. She really takes care of you and ensures you have a great stay. The wine in the fridge and the daily welsh cakes are a sweet bonus!

We spent a delightful six nights at Victoria House. The owner, Jan, was a gracious and very helpful host. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. No breakfast was served, but there are many excellent breakfast spots within a five minute walk. And the room came with ground coffee and a French press coffee maker, plus excellent snacks. The location within the old city walls and adjacent to the sea is perfect.

Delightful stay at Victoria House. Jan, the owner, was extremely hospitable, giving us plenty of helpful information about the area, alternative parking places when not being able to park outside the property and how everything worked at Victoria House. Back of property attached to city wall and view of Menai Strait. Fresh milk, snacks, fridge and microwave in room, with lovely Port Merion crockery. Large lounge and dining area for guests downstairs with invitation to bring food or take aways down to eat and eating in room allowed, crockery provided. Initial room a little small and cramped, though 2 easy chairs a bonus, but were upgraded when another room was available. Felt at home.

The owner was very welcoming, gave great dining suggestions, and the staff were also friendly. We were in a bit of a pickle regarding laundry and they were able to remedy that! Room was large and very comfortable. I would definitely stay again!

Jan, my host was very gracious and accommodating. Parking within the city walls is very limited, but she showed me where I could park close by and gave me a pass to use. The room was indeed Victorian, furnished with Victorian-era furniture and artwork. I felt very welcome and very much “at home.”

Great location and wonderful hostess. Jen is a real gem and very helpful. Her back yard ties into the wall allowing a great view of the sunset.

Spacious room, friendly staff and fantastic location close to all the local attractions plus 18 mins from Llanberis for the Snowdon hike. Will definitely be back.

Bed super comfy, room and bathroom very clean and loved the extra bathroom touches with the make up wipes and shampoo. We loved our drinks on arrival. Jan made us feel very welcome and answered all our questions. The location was great as within walking distance for food and drinks. The only problem we had was car parking outside but not a mega issue as there is other parking spaces elsewhere.

Highly recommend staying at this gorgeous accommodation! The bed was MASSIVE and super comfy, there was a large jacuzzi bath and the owners had thought of everything we could possibly need during our stay. Thanks so much!

This is one of best independent accommodation i have stayed at. The 4 poster bedroom with sea view room is wonderful and so well equipped; the hosts have thought of everything you may need, from microwave, cutlery, fridge, water, tray of refeshments,microwave, toiletries, a multi plug power station next to the bed. The bottle of fizz was such a lovely touch after a day of walking. The building is very central, next to the castle. Had a great view of over the bay, it was so quiet, didnt even hear the other residents there, the bed very comfortable, fab shower, super fluffy towels and the room spotless. Jan the host was so helpful, even gave up her parking space out sode for me. I will definitely book again when i return to north wales.
