Only food a bit expensive

The bedroom was nice (despite the broken shower door) and the rest of the property good as well. There was no restaurant dining or breakfast option, but we found some options in the area.

It’s an amazing place the staff is very nice and friendly.

We cancelled, our bus was cancelled from Victoria Falls to Bulawayo due to Mondays uprise, we grabbed a flight to South Africa

We had a great time at Motsamai Lodge. It’s main attraction is the location and proximity to the city. You are only 5 minutes away from Bradfield Market and 10 minutes from downtown. The host were kind and the gateman would wash our car daily, it was part of the package.

Pleasant stay. Would definitely book again when passing through Bulawayo.

It was safe, quiet and convenient.

The shower wasnt functioning properly, mixing cold and hot water was a huge task, and there was no hot water in the last 2 days of my stay. I guess the issue of power needs a better back up plan to ensure the comfort of residents. Modernising the showers to a single mixer would be helpful to balance hit and cold water

Great place to stay very safe and secure. It is very quiet great views and experience stunning sunsets Linen and towels might need to be updated they have seen better days

The room was modern and newly built had all the electrical facilities for a international plugs etc. the lighting in the bathroom could have been better for a ladies make u needs.

They stay was great. We had to wait a bit for our room to be ready at check in, the lady at reception was fine. The two gentleman at reception were very good, even helped us organize tours and excursions. Location good, about 45min walk to the center, but had to take a taxi after dark for safety. Room was very nice and clean, WiFi worked good.

One of my sisters stayed at Motsamai last year and she couldn’t stop raving about it. I discovered for myself that she wasn’t exaggerating her glowing reviews! It was super clean and comfortable, with a modern feel and serious bang for your buck. I really liked the double sink in the bathroom, as well as the general design of the bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was perfect, and it didn’t take long for the water to heat up. I could have slept all day in that bed, with its warm blankets and plush pillows. The WiFi connection was really strong (something not to be taken for granted!). The kitchen staff graciously accommodated our request for breakfast, at a time when most hotels would have stopped serving that meal! We would have stayed longer if not for the lodge being booked out for the week for a conference! I highly recommend Motsamai, and hope to return someday!
