It was a bit tricky at first because you had to scan a QR code, which could only be done via email, but you quickly got used to it. If there are more than four people, it's better to use separate email addresses, as everyone can't travel alone. It was difficult to board the train because you can't easily scan the QR code, but the staff can help you.

The first time using Osaka Amazing Pass it was a bit difficult when entering the train because the QR code can only be accessed via email so it cannot be shared with others, and at one time you can buy a maximum of 4 tickets, it is better to buy with different emails, because I bought with the same email for 8 people so it was a bit complicated when showing the QR code, because it cannot be screenshotted, if sent to another email it will ask for verification so it was a bit complicated. But after a while you get used to it and know how it works, it is easy to use when at attractions such as Dotonbori Cruise (must exchange tickets), Sumida Sky Building before 2:30.

This Amazing Pass is incredibly useful. It keeps your wallets fresh and doesn't bloat them. It's a must-have when you're in Osaka.

Overall okay and good value especially if you plan properly and move fast. I did not like the fact that for the train rides I had to always open the download. A physical card would have been better. Make sure you have sufficient battery power on your phone. The ferris well at Dotonburi still costs ¥900 even with the pass. The normal price without the pass is ¥1000 so only 100 discount - not free.
