It's safer and more practical to buy palace tickets through Traveloka, avoiding scams from fake tour guides who hang around near the palace.

Highly recommended. From the service, facilities, cleanliness, to the performances and exhibitions, it feels like hours spent at the palace. It's amazing how Indonesian culture is so rich, it makes me long for Yogyakarta.

The palace's atmosphere is beautiful, cool, and clean. The restrooms are also safe, with separate men's and women's toilets.

A super duper interesting experience, we learned a lot about historical places, moments of the victorious and historic sultanate, the journey of the first Sultan Hamengkubuwono until now, we were able to learn about the role of the Jogja sultanate towards UGM and Indonesian independence.

A historical site that is useful for learning about Yogyakarta's history. But unfortunately, the site is not well maintained and looks dull.
