I'll start with the positives: - Breakfast was excellent and the staff at breakfast was very helpful/attentive. - Check in was fine. Then the neutral: - Location was just fair - Hotels.com was pushing this property in each search and I should have done more homework to ensure I was closer to points of interest and dining options. Now the negative: - The air conditioning in my room did not work from the moment I checked-in. I went to the front desk to have it corrected as I was leaving for a walk. Upon returning two hours later, it was not fixed. No call. No message. No apology. No followup. - The walls are paper thin. From the moment I arrived, I heard conversations in the hallway and neighboring rooms, and constantly heard furniture being moved around in the room above me. The very least I should expect is a working air conditioner. Especially during the summer. And some sense of peace and quiet.

Very comfortable hotel. Location is good, a bit away from the most touristy areas but convenient to everything by bus or walking. Lots of great coffee shops and bakeries nearby. Air conditioning was a bit weak (we stayed there during a heat wave), but all in all we had a nice stay.

Great location and excellent room! Sleek styling with great flow spaces. Nice to have the cafeteria at street level for tired travelers. Very professional staff. Super comfortable bed and great shower.

Great property, good location

A very comfortable hotel with friendly staff, pleasant rooms and good facilities. Excellent art display in communal areas, decent gym and great breakfast. It has it's own parking, which is very useful in high season, though it does cost 21 Euros a day... The heat in August 2025 put a strain on an ageing air conditioning system and it would be good if the hotel could upgrade TVs at some point, to include apps and some English speaking channels.

Hotel is a 25 minute walk to the old town & beach but its flat. It was extremely busy but has many bars & restaurants. Buzzing. There is a beautiful sunset to be seen down at the beach. We have a motorbike and there is secure parking at the hotel.

Good hotel 25 minute walk to old town but easy walk. No coffee in room or English Channel on TV. Really reasonable prices in the bar so on the whole not a bad property.

Super hotel on the river, fifteen minutes to centre and beaches. Hotel staff are friendly and professional, rooms are large and clean. This was a late booking as our planned accommodation had fallen through - this was a much better choice than the one we had planned to stay in!

We needed a parking space. Underground garage (21euro/night) has a direct elevator access to the hotel. The entrance to the garage was a bit narrow, but no problem with our mid size SUV. 15-20 minutes easy walking (flat) to the old city center. Room was very clean and enough space for two of us. Quiet even it faced to a busy road. Good choice if you need a parking space.

We had a Terrace Room. We were surprised at how large the terrace was. My wife was recovering from a broken hip, so relaxing on the terrace with a bottle of wine was just what the doctor ordered.
