We decided on this hotel due to location unaware the amount of traffic surounding the hotel is hectic due to bridge crossings on either side. I must say it was an "excellent" decision due to the customer service we received. From the General manager to the cleaning crew absolutly everyone went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one! Everyone took time to stop and say heĺlo with such a heartfelt demeanor! This hotel was clean, comfortable and would highly recommend if your in Bay City.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff

Breakfast was not stocked very well

I was traveling for the memorial service of one of my closest friends. I booked this hotel because the family had made arrangements with them ahead of time. At 1am the morning I was supposed to fly out- my flight was cancelled. I spent hours on the phone with the airline and others trying to make other arrangements as this was unbelievably important to me. Unfortunately, it became clear there were no other options- I was devastated- I ultimately cancelled my reservation- providing them with the proof of the cancelled flight and the reason I was traveling. After 4 days back and forth with hotels.com and the hotel, I was told the best they could do was a partial refund (less than half of what I paid). For circumstances this extenuating I am disgusted. I will never ever book with comfort inn again.

Staff friendly, warm and accomodating. Breakfast staff, specifically Marci was exceptional.

Riverfront is not exactly true in my opinion, our room faced a wall, no view at all, nice bars and restaurants in the area to walk to

Clean room. Great breakfast options. Tons of TV channels. Amazing pool- very clean and warm. Room was clean and neat. A/c worked great. Lots of stores and dining options within walking distances. Front desk staff was so nice!

Nice and close to everything. You can walk to many restaurants.

Friendly nice stay. Carpets in hall and stairway pretty dirty. Room was fine.

Hotel was clean but could use some updating. You can tell it is an older building and there were a few places where this is very obvious especially in the hallway leading back to the rooms near the elevator.

Kevin was probably the nicest person I’ve met, he made our stay a very positive one. The room was nice and clean and they give full bottles of shampoo and conditioner which was very nice, the pool was refreshing and pretty warm, although the floor was a little dirty it wasn’t too bad. The bed wasn’t super comfortable but adequate. The breakfast was great and had a lot of options, Kevin was also at breakfast and was talking to everyone and even threw away some of our garbage. Overall a pretty adequate stay and very nice staff.

Room was clean but carpet was nasty! Stuff was clinging to our socks.

A lot of Bars around within walking distance.

When first arriving at Comfort Inn, I was a little taken aback because it was in the middle of a very busy street, with virtually no indication that it was a hotel. And upon first entry, it did look a little worn. But after arrival, the staff made up for everything. During our stay, the staff at the continental breakfast (Marcy?) was wonderful. So friendly, especially when we were staying more than one night and interacted again the next day. The continental breakfast was very good - 2 different waffle makers, scrambled eggs and sausage one morning and biscuits and gravy the next. The area was very clean and empty items eere replenished quickly. And on the second morning, we informed the front desk staff that there was an oder like sewer gas in our room. They not only immediately sent up their maintenance staff up to the room to take care of it, the front desk manager (hotel manager?) gave both my sister-in-law (in the next room) and I bonus Choice Reward points for our inconvenience. All in all, I would definitely stay here again. And there’s a Starbucks and a bakery right across the street!
