Central location is perfect. Walk to the harbour. Exceptional breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. They are currently renovating the lobby so there was a bit of construction noise, but the final product will be amazing. I plan to return to see it!

The breakfast was definitely the highlight — absolutely excellent. Adding a small refrigerator with bottled water, a coffee maker with coffee and tea, and perhaps an icebucket in the room would really enhance the overall comfort. The room, while cozy, felt quite small for three people and would be more suitable for two. Closet space was also limited, really only accommodating one person's belongings. Although renovations were underway, they didn’t disrupt the guests. However, there was a noticeable and strong scent of lumber in the reception area.

Extremely confusing layout and signage. I really really loved the 7am construction making the wall vibrate

Heavy construction going on. The elevators were mostly closed down, lobby was massively impacted stairs were closed etc. It would be a great spot if not for major renovation. Breakfast was good. Staff was helpful and kind.

This hotel is currently undergoing a renovation and it is incredibly difficult to do even the most basic things like find your way into the hotel, find and use the parking deck, get up and down the stairs, etc. The atrium is a ghost town while they’re doing the renovations and sometimes you can’t even find a receptionist. No signs outside to help with finding your way into the parking deck or once you’re in the parking deck finding your way into the hotel. Also, while the room was clean, and the bed was fairly comfortable, the rooms were extremely small, and this was the only hotel I stayed at in Norway that did not offer Shampoo, conditioner, and lotion in the bathroom bathroom. Finally, the TV wasn’t even functional. The only content you could get on the TV was if you pushed content to it from your phone. Not a single channel. The only thing going for this hotel is its location.

We called before booking noticing the construction advisory. The person we spoke to told us it will be near done upon arrival. That was a lie! Everything was disrupted. No bar, no services, one person on duty (his first day), scaffolding everywhere. We paid over 6000 kr for 2 nights, absolutely ridiculous!!

stayed here on the 4 to 6th august , booked the hotel in June and was only informed the night before our stay that there was major construction work going on throughout the hotel. the whole hotel is like a building site, drilling starts at 7am every morning , rooms are very small and the shower is tiny

Breakfast was phenomenal and included. Construction was ongoing but not noisy and you needed card key to lock your room door intermittently. of note, it was very hot and there’s no air conditioning as is the norm in Oslo.

Undergoing renovations and VERY noisy early in the morning and until evening. Will be lovely BUT very expensive for a place in disarray. They did refund us 100$ a night but was still over 200$ for a very unpleasant stay. Had to move rooms as the noise was excessive but didn’t help.

Our stay was actually fabulous. We were able to check in at 11:30 and the room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were excellent and friendly. Location was 2 streets from the waterfront and only 4-5 from the royal palace. 4 blocks from the direct train to the airport. We will stay here again next visit. And it was $142 for the night for 2 including a great breakfast buffet.

I booked my stay several months in advance, and just one week prior to arrival, the hotel informed me about an ongoing renovation via email. While I appreciated the heads-up, the noise during the day was quite disruptive. Fortunately, I didn't spend much time in the room during daylight hours, so it wasn't a major issue for me personally. The room itself is compact and cozy, primarily suitable for sleeping rather than spending extended time indoors. Unfortunately, the hotel lacks a proper heating and cooling system. Despite multiple requests to the front desk for assistance in adjusting the air conditioning, no action was taken during my stay. For a short visit, the hotel is tolerable—especially given its excellent proximity to Oslo's main attractions and activities.

Awful experience, upgrade works builders right outside window on staging at 6.30 am, dangerous walk through building area to get to breakfast area, shocking check in couldn’t take payment or provide receipt had to go back 3 times, no minibar not the quality given the price

A wonderful place to stay, close to all the major sights in the city centre. The hotel has a lot of construction going on so it looks a little messy but the room itself, the reception area, and the staff were excellent. As others have mentioned, the breakfasts were truly outstanding.
