Good location 5 min walk to Oslo S train station. Amazing breakfast

Nice staff

I stayed at Thon Hotel Terminus and, unfortunately, it was a poor experience overall despite some positives. The staff were pleasant and helpful, which I appreciated. I also chose this hotel for its proximity to the train station, though it still ended up being a bit of a walk — especially when traveling with luggage. The room itself was quite small, but my main concern was the door locking system. When you close the door, it doesn’t automatically lock; you have to scan your room key. At night, I tried to lock it from the inside as instructed on the door, but it didn’t seem to work. The door still appeared to be unlocked or could be opened from the outside. This made me feel very uneasy and affected my sense of safety. I was too tired to call for assistance, so I ended up placing a chair in front of the door. Unfortunately, I didn’t get much sleep because of this. Breakfast was okay, but I’ve definitely had better. Overall, while the staff were kind, the safety concern and overall comfort made this stay disappointing.

Room was clean and quiet. Shower small. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet with many choices. Facility is a little beat up. Neighborhood a little questionable, if one is unused to city life.

When we arrived, we were given a room that was completely inappropriate. It was tiny and had a beam in the middle of the room so you could not access the bed or see the television at all. It was bizarre. Also, it smelled like someone had just use the restroom and not in a good way. We immediately called the front desk to ask about being moved to another room and they accommodated us. But honestly, I could not believe that the room we had been initially given was ever given to any guest at that hotel. The location of the hotel is right next to the Central station with lots of construction going on and not a great part of town. I would not stay in that location again. We have traveled a lot, and I have never given a hotel a review like this before.

Excellent breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. Only thing is that our room on the 7th floor is kinda like limited headroom at the window so need to take note as you can hit the head when walk from that side of the bed at night.

Close to station and city centre. Friendly staff. Comfy bed, with good work desk and fast internet. Breakfast was very good, especially with the cold choices.

Spotless, warm and comfortable night stay

Staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel was good overall, just a little dark in front at night as there’s construction. Though the location is good. Needs a refresh. Shower had no pressure.

Staff and breakfast, location

Room 205 was an upgrade due to problems with initial room. Big corner room, excellent coffee maker and extravagant breakfasts selections! Front desk staff helpful and pleasant!
