The hotel was nice and clean.

Bed was comfortable but room was musty and humid. The shower was aggressive and there was art in the room that had mold growing inside of it.

When I went to the breakfast front desk, I came close to the woman there and quietly gave my room number, asking her not to say it out loud because there were people behind me. Despite this, she repeated my room number loudly multiple times. I reported this to the manager, who was understanding and promptly changed my room. Because of this experience, I didn’t feel safe or comfortable returning to breakfast, so I never used it again.

Overall the hotel was good. However, there is some area of concerns. There is no vent in the bathroom and the carpet in the room was old.

Great location in midtown. Easy access to public transportation. Beautiful lobby. Room for me a bit small but great.

Do yourself a favor and just say no. Our room had bugs and the A/C wouldn’t work correctly all the time. They charge you additional fees and don’t tell you until you check in. The $35 daily fee was on none of my paperwork. I don’t understand how this hotel is considered a “4 star” hotel. Never. Again.

For NYC, this hotel is very average. The rooms are quite small and the bathroom is tiny.

Close distance to everywhere perfect location. The room clean.. the staff was friendly most of the times

I loved that we were close to Grand Central to be able to travel to so many parts of New York. The walk to Time Square is less than 30 minutes and around 15 minutes to Rockerfeller ane other shopping areas. The Hotel was amazing and the rooms were so clean and spacious. We loved our stay and would stay again when we visity NY.

Was challenged by manager about the state of my room after sharing with her the sheets and room was not clean. Air con was also not working. After I fought to get those things fixed all was okay. Overall not a great experience

The shower water pressure is really high. Other than that, a very solid stay.

The hotel is close to many historical places

Conveniently located and well appointed. The room was a bit small for my taste but it’s NY.

Clean hotel and great location. Should remove the luggage fee, they make you pay 3USD per bag just hold it if the room is not ready or if you need to check out early which is absurd. No other hotel does that.

The hotel is near 5th Avenue, near the subway and Central Station, it’s very convenient to walk around.

Phipps was top tier. The breakfast is a buffet style. So there is a credit of 35.00 each day towards breakfast, the bar or laundry( dry cleaning). So keep in mind it is just 10 minute walk to Time square. I love everything about this resort except the housekeeping COORDINATOR. She was rude giving the rating of a one star for just her rudeness. Refusing to allowing me to speak with the manager. In addition to the credit toward your daily amenities, they give you if available codes for the citi bikes. Keep in mind the bikes are for the CLASSIC bikes not the electric bikes. The bikes come in handy. It bear a lot of public transportation so it was great.
