Hotel Diplomatic was lovely for a few days stay in Rome. The rooms are fairly roomy and kept clean. The bed was lovely and comfortable and clean. The breakfast had a good selection of continental, cereal, toast, fruit, pastries and cooked so very nice. The location was perfect as it is right by the river and within walking distance to all the main attractions inc only 10 mins to St Peters Square. Would stay there again, thank you

We stayed at Hotel Diplomatic June 1-2, 2025. Initially we were a little surprised and concerned with the impression given by the small lobby and stairs to access the elevator. However, we arrived early and the gentleman at the desk was very helpful and stored our bags until check-in time. We went to explore the neighbourhood and get some lunch. We came back to find our bags had already been placed in our room. The room was lovely. The staff were extremely quick with any help we requested. They were very polite and accommodating. We felt very safe in the neighbourhood. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent location and staff providing very good service

The front desk staff were friendly, helpful with our luggage and very clear on the charges from the get go. The room was slightly dated. The location was fantastic with regards to getting around the city. The bus stop was right below the building. The Vatican was 25min walk from the hotel. Over all- the stay was a good one.

Perfect location, was able to walk to all the major attractions. Plenty of dining options close by. Accommodations clean and comfortable

Excellent location, knowledgeable staff, clean rooms. Unfortunately only had one plug point and no kettle with cups or tea bags/ coffee to make in room.

Love our room though outdated and vicinity area sorrounding it but dont love the staff especially in the dining area,didnt smile at all.especially female assistant serving in the breakfast,feels unwelcome to guest.they need to provide more homey hospitality since theyre working in a hotel,but the staff in the information desk are cheerful and i would give credit to that. Food is mediocre.Overall needs a lot of improvement.

Nice hotel within 10 minutes walk of the Plaza Navone area. Room comfortable, good shower with toiletries. The only downside for us was no tea making facilities in the room. But I suspect that is an Italian thing. Overall very good.

Great location to stay in Rome. Okly a 10 min wslk to the Vatican, and close to Piazza Navona, Piazza del Popolo and a number of metro stops. Would stay there again.

Very nice property, very good location. Niear to most of attractions. Hotel very clean with nice, helpful and professional staff.

Served a purpose for our stay. We'd booked as a city break so was out most days. It would've been nice if the hotel was more modern but we did check photos before our stay. Basic hotel, convenient if you'd prefer to be on the Vatican/ Trastevere side (20-25 mins walk for a steady pacer) Breakfast very basic. The room was cleaned daily which was a bonus and cleaner was very friendly.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was very excellent for walking around the city, exploring the sites, and shopping. Some of the amenities in the room need to be updated/modernized but it was all very clean and comfortable beds with spacious rooms.

It is a local Rome Hotel, an older property but all in working condition. The staff was great. The guys in the lobby were extremely nice. Great service. The rooms were cleaned. Great price for what you get. It is a very good location.

Property needs upgrading.
