Room was clean, bedding was clean and spotless, bathrooms nice and tidy. Only things which are a little bothered us was that tv had 6 channels and only one in english. And few times there was voice without a vision. There are sockets but only in one place and just one. And if you wanna charge 2 things you need to disconnect the telly. Beside that hotel was lovely. All wooden inside, fireplace beautiful and give warm, place for a kids to build lego, and play board games. Nice breakfasts. Bus to Hafjell from front of the hotel. Family park just 10 minuts walk from hotel. Great place.

Old decor, broken mini fridge, horrible restaurant. Bad service at dinner/ breakfast. The location is right next to Hunderfassen park and that is a good thing.

Breakfast and light dinner “buffet” included in the stay made it a very reasonable stay. Lovely hotel with cabins to rent that have lots of activities to offer. Free shuttle bus to the slopes is a great offer although we decided to drive.

The reception staff was very welcoming & friendly, who gave us good information about the surrounding scenic sights , which we had visited !

The shower room is too small. The furniture in the room is very old. The bunk bed is too small for my 17 year old son. The breakfast buffet is good.

Hunderfossen Hotell & Resort is clean hotel located close to Lillehammer. We stayed one night here, did not have a chance to have breakfast next morning, but breakfast in Norway hotels is usually good. We were served a sour upon checking-in late which was nice. Not a fancy hotel, rooms are small, but it was clean.

The hotel was very nice, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was great. The furnishings in the room were a bit dated, but everything was functional. We would stay there again. The hotel staff was very friendly.

We enjoyed our stay, but the hotel needs a bit of work. The bathroom was dated and the shower cubicle tiny. Nice location but around 13.5kms drive from Lillehammer.

Nice hotel and with friendly staff with focus on family and children. Lots of activities around in all seasons.

Very cute little hotel in the park. Breakfast was pretty good but should be until 11am. Bar should be bigger in lobby with service. (Prob was slow season for them so only one person at desk) Front desk staff was nice but not overly helpful in planning or helping to organize activities in the area. Restaurant had very limited menu and very short hours so never ate therr for dinner. No lunch available. Rooms were on the small side and very basic. They also didn’t turn over the rooms and change towels unless we asked them to. Place could use a pool gym or sauna or any spa amenities for winter guests.

Fantastic building and great breakfast.

This hotel was in the country. The focus is on families with young children, and it does very good job entertaining this group. In addition, there are hiking trails and outdoor children play areas and an amusement park. We enjoyed our stay and we felt our room was charming and comfortable. We would have liked additional pillows because only one small pillow per person was provided. The staff was very friendly and the food was good.

Awesome location, great service, nice facility Check out the immediate surroundings, there are walking trails, a free and very excellent museum (Norwegian Vehicle Museum), a theme/family park, and a beautiful dam.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Comfortable rooms, very helpful staff, terrific restaurant and free bus shuttle to Hafjell. In a lovely setting and was there during a more quiet time rather than the summer months when I suspect it is much busier.

Good location, lovely place, comfortable rooms and nice people. Unfortunately when the reservation says 'evening meal included' what it really means is 'soup and bread'. This wouldn't be a problem if it were communicated to you when you check in or when you were presented with the menu. This minor oversight meant we were almost £400 over budget for the three night stay. Shame as it is my last memory of an otherwise pleasant stay.
