Excellent location right next to the Metro and close to the Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. Professional, friendly helpful staff who went above and beyond. Personal touches.. they left a lovely note and bottle of processo as it was my birthday. Breakfast was delicious and cooked freshly to order. Can't recommended highly enough. Would definitely use again.

The staff was amazing, the breakfast they offer in the morning was phenomenal and the wait staff was so friendly. The location is centralized and next to a metro station which makes it ideal for travelers. I’m not sure if the previous guest smoked in our room but it did smell like cigarettes the staff was very kind and sent someone to clean the room for us. I would stay here again and recommend it.

This hotel has great location and it is easy to get to the main attractions in the center of the city. Breakfast was amazing! Stuff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Amazing staff, breakfast, and the room and bed were comfortable and clean. We loved the area, conveniently located, right near a busy square. The staff is the highlight at this hotel. The bed is super comfortable. The only thing I could complain about is the window let’s in no light at all, no view. We were never there during the day anyway.

All good did not need air con travelled in March

Just around the corner from the Trevi Fountain, Hotel Barocco is a great place to stay if you’re looking for that downtown convenience. Close to many shops and restaurants, and never more than a half hour walk from Rome’s big ticket places, we never had to worry about a taxi or transport. The staff were highly attentive and very warm and welcoming. They always made sure we had everything we needed, even when we missed our breakfast time, they still offered us a table. Speaking of breakfast, not having to worry about going out to eat for breakfast and spending more money in an already expensive city, was such a great weight taken off our shoulders. The rooms were very clean and bright, with housekeeping coming by daily. It is an old building so it tended to be a bit on the warm side at night and we couldn’t quite figure out how to keep the A/C from blowing hot air in the middle of the night (probably user error as we never asked the front desk about it). If coming from the airport, I suggest your own transportation (uber or car service) as the taxi service the hotel provides runs on the more expensive side. This hotel was such a gem of our time in Rome and would be back in a heartbeat.
