This is the second time I've stayed at this lovely, gracious hotel. It is a colonial building with all modern amenities. It's well located in the Centro Historico in Puebla, easy walking distance to many places of interest and excellent restaurants (including the one in the hotel). The price is quite reasonable, considering how sumptuous this place is!

Great accommodations, location and overall maintenance. Historical building is amazing. Bad experience though with breakfast: slow, bad quality and expensive.

Liked everything about the hotel. Only complaint was the unreliable internet/wifi connection. Perhaps because room 306 was out of reach for the connections?

Honest Review! This hotel has a Mexican soap opera vibe. The establishment is very clean, rooms are also very clean. There is a mini split a/c unit in the room which keeps the room nice and cool on hot days. The staff is very nice. The location is also top tier, walking distance to the plaza from where you can get transportation to literally anywhere. The buffet in the morning is very good, they have a variety of food to eat and plenty of cook-to-order food (tacos, omelets, pizza etc.). Also tried the Italian restaurant Panadero in the hotel and the food was surprisingly just like the food I tasted in Italy. Staff mention the owner is Italian and it’s his recipes that are being used ( not sure if it’s true, but the food was delicious). I slept like a baby, bed was really comfortable, felt built for royalty. I would 100% recommend. Will be staying here again when I come back.

Location is excellent! My room was spacious and plenty of amenities. Staff with higher rank (front desk, managers, bell boys) were snobby, but the staff at the restaurants, chef and bar were very attentive and friendly, my experience was so much pleasant thanks to them.

The room is very clean and the setting is great. The overall of the hotel setting is very cosy and welcoming. We’ve like to have a microwave in the room though; however, it may defeat the purpose of the having restaurant within the hotel.

Cool hotel in former 16century convent. Room was interior but pleasant and comfortable. Water pressure was not great, and shower head was poorly positioned and got floor wet. I initially paid for breakfast for both days, but after poor service and poor food the first am, decided to go elsewhere the second morning. However, when zi asked for a refund for the second days breakfast, they told me that was not possible! After much back and forth they said we could use it for other food or drink. I reluctantly spent the credit on room service. When the waiter delivered my pizza, salad, and tea, he had not applied the credit. The food was again poor and I had to wait for him to go to reception to verify my credit. Good location, cool building, but don’t eat here or expect good customer service.

Beautiful historic building and we had an updated room. The room was quiet, super comfortable beds and spacious. The location of the hotel was very central and we walked everywhere. It was a really unique and lovely hotel and we would definitely return.
