They committed to give the view room but when we reached there. They said they don't have the view room available. So what's the point for reservation we didn't get what we asked for The rest is everything is fine specially swimming pool facility, restaurant and breakfast was awesome.

Hotel was very nice and located very close to castle and city centre. Room was big enough. The area around the hotel wasn't very nice and I didn’t felt 100% safe when walking around. Parking is also very expensive, we decided to leave the car somewhere else. Parking should be cheaper for guests.

Generally a good stay. BUT - BE WARNED!! the hotel car park is quoted as having "Parking Available". What is NOT mentioned is the fact that on checking out and leaving the car park, a fee of £24.00 is charged just for an overnight stay in THEIR car park. Daylight robbery!!!

We were in Cardiff for a concert. It is a fun event city. We likened the downtown atmosphere to the Fremont Street of the U.K. The city center has the train station, shopping, dining and nightlife, all within walking or Uber distance of Novotel. This historic hotel has a great aesthetic, fantastic food, friendly staff and nice, clean rooms. Would definitely stay here again!

The location was good, the property had some nice amenities, but the room was old and gross -- stained carpet and -- really gross -- what appeared to be blood stains on the sheets of the pull out sofa.

The hotel itself is beautiful on arrival, gorgeous decor, the bar/restraunt attached is also stunning. Our room was lovely, bathroom felt new, spacious and so so clean! The bed and pillows were one of the comfiest I’ve ever stayed in. Staff were friendly & happy to help, really lovely hotel. Hope to visit again soon.

The hotel was lovely, we were able to store our bags before check in. Spa facilties were amazing, shampoo and body wash supplied in changing room and hotel rooms. Room very spacious. We didnt have sheets on one bed but this was quickly rectified.

Found small hairs in bath tub, bedroom carpet had huge red marks on it,

Stayed here for 3 nights on a recent visit to South Wales. In a good central location, but the comfort of the hotel was only average. Rooms were quite noisy and not the most comfortable beds in the world. Pool, gym and bar were excellent. Expensive parking!!

Was given the incorrect room. Purchased a room with a queen size bed and sofa. Was given a disabled twin room as it was all that was left. Asked reception and there was nothing they could do.

It was fine. The room was comfortable enough and the bed was good. The check in was disappointing as the staff member got my name wrong, twice and didn’t offer breakfast or explain any amenities or the wifi or ask if I’d parked in the car park. It’s also not in the nicest part of town but it was quiet enough.

Stayed here for 3nights was good value for money - don’t expect a lot Rooms are looking tired and if you are above the pool (1st floor) expect some noise

Lovely hotel, 10min walk into the city centre. But! Loud people arriving back and doors slamming alllll night!

Very seedy area wouldn’t recommend this hotel first room shower dripped and air conditioner didn’t work properly

We were put in an accessible room which wasnt great (and didnt seem that accessible if you really needed it). But all the staff at reception and in the restaurant were really friendly and helpful. Sadly didnt get the chance to use the spa etc.

It was fine for what we needed but the rooms (carpets in particular) could use an upgrade (lots of stains)

We enjoyed our stay at Novo hotel Cardiff it was a modern hotel with a good atmosphere,check in was easy, our room was spotless, the food very good and the staff work very hard and are very friendly, the hotel is well situated for the city centre and Cardiff didn't,t disappoint it.was great!
