Wonderful hotel with excellent staff. The spa was a nice treat as well.

The city is simple and the thermal spa was wonderful, we had fun on the funicular. I booked 2 rooms by mistake and they fixed my problem. Marianne was very helpful

It's the worst hotel I have been to this year. The room was too small. Breakfast doesn't correspond to the category of 5-star hotels. Stuff asked us every breakfast would we have dinner at the hotel restaurant? The plumbing is old and noisy, the water doesn't always stop after the toilet flush is used. In addition for all the abovementioned the man who was at the reception desk wrote in our check-out bill spa treatments for 90 EUR. All the arguments that we didn't use massage in the hotel were not heard. Only the argument that the spa was closed when we were checking in at the hotel influenced him to write off the massage fee regretfully.

Wish you had more guests.

The hotel is a 5-star hotel but a far cry from other 5-star hotels like the Hotel Excelsior Vittoria in Sorrento. But It’s modern and suits one’s needs just fine. We had a balcony with a wonderful view of Montercatini Alto. The location is ideal, a short walk down tree lined streets to the park and Ristorante Gourmet, perhaps the best meal we’ve had in Italy. The rooftop pool is small but sufficient enough for wading and sunning oneself with panoramic views. We opted for spa access and we’re extremely disappointed. The Turkish bath wasn’t working, the door handle on the ice shower is falling off, the emotional shower was barely a mist and pointless, and the jets in the main thermal pool were temperamental; They wouldn’t respond to us pushing the button to turn them on. The sauna was the only thing that seemed to be in proper condition.

Would not rate this a five star hotel. Room was adequate but extra bed for our son was extremely uncomfortable. Bed was not ready, no extra towels for third person. Was fine for an overnight but nothing more.

Nicely decorated, modern hotel - a shame that guests can’t access the spa which disappointing. Rooms were clean and well kept.
