We didn’t even stay, the room smelt so bad of urine it was unbearable, accessing the property was a task as only one of two swipe keys issued worked, the indoor pool was closed off with caution tape and the outdoor pool had ankle deep brown water. I brought my family with a child to a place that ended up looking like you rent rooms by the hour not over night or family friendly.

I love the location where it’s at because it’s right across from KFC and McDonald’s and the walking distance to the playground for my child.we seen a mother deer and a baby deer. Also it’s was quiet at night. I would love to stay there again on my next year trip.

The pool is permanently closed, and everything was extremely run down.

Worse $312 hotel I have ever stayed at. Just walking up the dirty old and weathered stairs I should have turned around and left but it was an 11 hour drive already and late. The king size mattress was worn and sagging in the middle. The bathroom fan was broken and the tub drain was clogged. The air conditioner worked well but was very loud and woke me up every time it turned on to the point where I just turned it off. The pictures of the room and hotel are not what you get. Very old, dated and well used, a $125 a night motel is more worth the stay.

Restaurant was good and friendly staff. Room was not very clean( hairs from some one else in the bathroom and wall). It was quiet. Hallways are pretty dingy.

The carpets need to be replaced, they are worn & dirty. Air conditioner was so noisy. Rooms were small & dark. Coffee maker didn’t work. Swimming pool wasn’t working. Bottom line, it was very expensive!

The room was clean, needs a new carpet but otherwise fine. Was good air conditioning and the beds super comfy. Staff very helpful and polite. Pool was under construction which was disappointing but not a huge deal.

Don’t stay here. It’s absolutely disgusting. Stains on the furniture and floors. Both pools are closed. There was a smell that I couldn’t recognize. Very run down.

Older hotel. stains in the carpet. beds were very comfortable. room was freezing. breakfast was good at the restaurant next door. Should get a discounted rate if you stay at the hotel and eat there. Advertises eat sleep and have fun. Fun doing what? Empty pools inside and out. Pictures are super beautiful actually rooms are dark.

Comfortable beds but somewhat shabby carpets. The sink had no place to lay down anything. At least a towel bar would have been nice.

​​Avoid the Travelodge at Lake of the Woods. At $292, it’s massively overpriced for a premier, highly touristic area. The building is unmaintained, hallway carpets are stained, and the room was dark and tiny with filthy chairs. Plus, the pool was closed and the lawn overgrown. Terrible. #TravelWarning

Pool closed / dark hallways - beautiful town a lil out dated

Two pools but both under repairs. A tornado warning was issued at 3:30 am but no desk staff or other help available to guide us. Very old building and extraordinary price of $300 / night. That is higher than Montreal.

Inadequate housekeeping, only changed towels, took and threw away our bar of soap. Didn’t bother changing sheets or even straighten anything out. In hotel room, some lights didn’t work, carpet floor was dirty, and both pools were out of order.

Large room, well equipped. A little tired looking but it was clean.

Air conditioning in the room is very noisy.

The rooms were not at all like the pictures. The carpets in the rooms and hallway are absolutely disgusting. The room stunk likr someone had sprayed a can of room freshner in the room. The front desk guy was not at all friendly.There is no elevator, just stairs. On the upside the restaurant was very good and the service excellent.

This establishment is in need of major renovations. The only saving grace was the restaurant where the food and service was good.

For the price, very disappointing. Swimming pool, hot tub not available, no complimentary breakfast, pop machine empty. Would not recommend. Most properties as this one range in the $100 to $125 a night, Kenora double the cost.
